Anne SThe train was fine but The Security check was very corrupt, they said it was fine that my vape was in my pocket and they gave it back to me, afterwards they took me to a private room and 6 men was threatening with handcuffs if I didn’t pay 3 million kip, non of them spoke English and their google translate was not able to understand, very uncomfortable experience!!!! Also it was only white persons they got to the room to get money from, very corrupt.

Megan GThere’s no communication whatsoever and no one speaks English, not even a little. Waited a while for the bus to set off, one guy asked for my ticket, took it and threw it away and then later asked again where my ticket was… it’s really disorganised and It made me feel quite uncomfortable. When we stopped for a toilet break, the driver wouldn’t let my partner back on the bus and was really rude waving his hands telling him to go away so he had to wait 10 mins outside the bus until the driver decided to let him back in! Absolutely disgusting behaviour I wouldn’t recommend if you want a stress free trip

Stephanie RWhen I booked the price on the payment screen was more than the one advertised, when I questioned it I was told it was because the operators increase the price in holiday season?
The bus was comfortable but had no toilet. We set off late but arrived to Hanoi early! We arrived at a different destination to the one advertised on the booking.

Andy MThe bus arrived to collect us and dropped us in Hue perfectly on time. The seats are not as comfortable as they look in the mini buses, but they do have USB chargers which was great!
The big irritating part with this trip was that about 20 mins from Hue, the bus driver pulled into a random service station and told us we need to change to another minibus to continue the last 20 mins of the journey with no explanation as to why, and then he drove off and we got into the second minibus which brought us to the arrival point in Hue 20 mins later. Very odd and frustrating.

Jackson JThe office girl, driver and the helper. All 3 were rude and behaving as if we are traveling for free.
The bed and pod is ok. But the initial experience by these people made us feel like we are not welcomed.
I booked the 10:30 pm bus and since i arrived 30 mins early, they transferred us into a bus which was about to leave. Not sure if this is a good practise.

Christian FMy spouse, three sons (10 months and 3 and 6 years old) took the night VIP Bus from Sa Pa to Cat Ba. In Hanoi we had to change to another bus.
