Firstly when we booked, we booked a limousine which is a small minibus with usb ports. However whilst waiting we noticed there were alot more people waiting than there should of been for that small minivan. When we asked the staff member he said there was two, however one was a normal coach and the other, the advertised minivan which we had booked. We said that's ok as long as we are on the smaller one it's fine because we had paid for that one. Turns out we had been booked on the other normal coach and it's just lucky we asked the staff member so that we could make sure we were on the smaller one we had booked. We were supposed to set off at 15:30 but it was around and hour late and we were standing on a busy road with heavy bags on our back for over half an hour because they kept telling us it would be 5 minutes! However the staff did apologise for this. The journey itself was ok - one bathroom break and one food stop in the 6-7hour journey. The only other thing that bothered us was that 10 minutes before arriving they picked up a Vietnamese couple, the man smelt strongly of booze and cigarettes and was standing up and leaning on my chair (no personal space whatsoever) unnecessarily as there was a spare seat. It seemed he was there to 'help' people to their stop by shouting aggressively the hotel name then 'help' with the bags by chucking them on the floor... Apart from that it was fine!

The organisation was terrible and the bus was overbooked. People sat on the floor in the aisles for 6 hours whilst people basically lay on each other at the back. The trip also took an hour longer than expected.

Just to clarify, we didn't complete the trip. I am 6feet tall and my wife is 5' 7" and didn't properly fit in the sleeper seats. For smaller people it looked great and clean

Bus was quite late, but the team was responsive enough. They picked me up (on a motorbike!) and brought me to the bus. They also dropped me at my hostel in Ha Giang. Overall, a much better experience than another limobus service I use. I would choose them again if I needed to go to Ha Giang again.

Typical Vietnamese bus, driver wasnt punctual and stops at random side of the roads to pick up “extra” passengers even when the bus is already full. No toilets onboard either, but otherwise it was a pretty comfy ride! Gets us from Hanoi to Ha Giang in more or less the time promised.

Great experience. Tour operator informed me 8 hours before departure, that a shuttle to the bus station will pick me up. Could have been some hours earlier, but was okay. Bus was VIP Bus as written, driver was at time

The scenery was stunning. the whole journey including overnight stays were lovely. However, I had booked a bus tour so I would have company and you provided a private car and driver. This was very nice but the driver spoke no English. This was an expensive tour and I felt I did not really get what I paid for.

Make sure to check your boarding location prior to going, our pick-up location was not at the bus stop but instead at the office. There are 3 attendants on the bus, none spoke enlist and seemed confused by our preprinted ticket we obtained ahead of time on 12go website. There are no bathrooms on the bus but you do make a 30min stop halfway through, though the bathrooms were not very cleanly. Also bus ran late, we got to our destination 1.5 hours late and got dropped off a few blocks away from our hotel and the attendant just pointed in the general direction. Thankful my husband had a phone to map where we needed to go because at 3 am there wasn’t much help on the street

Comfortable, The bus assistant was very rude, he kept pushing me in instead of talking, refused to keep my small bag with me, it contained my medicine and passport and a very exiensive camera. He dropped me At the end of the line and when I askee about the place of my hotel, he pointed at a hostel in front snd told me: you sleep here, go go. I was about to get a dog bite at 3/00 am

Quite dangerous driving and was very difficult to get to ha Giang bus station where we was being picked up. Wanted hotel names which we couldn't give as it was a homestay and couldn't understand bus station. Didn't sleep for the whole journey. Bus itself is very nice.
