Truly “VIP” bus!! Really comfy. I passed out for almost the entire way! If it wasn’t for the excessive honking of the driver, everything was great. We also got a free night at Riverside hostel

I was emailed the day before to be informed that I would be picked up at my hotel and that was nice because I did not have to find my own transportation to the station. The bus was clean well maintained and left on time. The driver spoke a little bit of English, at least enough for basic communication. I was not aware it would be set up as a sleeper and while it was nice to have a blanket and pillow as the day progressed I wished I could have move my seat into a more upright position

Booking was easy but only after payment it was said that you had to pay an extra seat for more than 10 kg luggage. I had a backpack and all the other passengers had one. So the bus driver didn’t make problems. But it is not nice that the site offers a rather expensive limousine bus without luggage space.

We were picked up from our hotel on time and the trip started off well. The driver was pretty erratic (like most in Vietnam) but a few hours in he t-boned a lady on a scooter and sent her flying. She was loaded into a car and presumably taken to hospital. The scooter was jammed under the van and we had to jump on board one of the local buses which aren't great. Added an extra 2 hours on to our trip, which means nothing in comparison to the poor lady that got taken out. Hopefully she is alright. This isn't a reflection on 12goasia as we have used them all across South East Asia and they have been fantastic.

The trip itself was good, but the bus left with almost 1 hour delay.

We were supposed to leave at 6:30 but at the end we departed at 7:15 without any explanation from their side except "problems with the traffic"... Like if traffic in Hà Nội is something not common. The driver was friendly and drove safely.

Firstly when we booked, we booked a limousine which is a small minibus with usb ports. However whilst waiting we noticed there were alot more people waiting than there should of been for that small minivan. When we asked the staff member he said there was two, however one was a normal coach and the other, the advertised minivan which we had booked. We said that's ok as long as we are on the smaller one it's fine because we had paid for that one. Turns out we had been booked on the other normal coach and it's just lucky we asked the staff member so that we could make sure we were on the smaller one we had booked. We were supposed to set off at 15:30 but it was around and hour late and we were standing on a busy road with heavy bags on our back for over half an hour because they kept telling us it would be 5 minutes! However the staff did apologise for this. The journey itself was ok - one bathroom break and one food stop in the 6-7hour journey. The only other thing that bothered us was that 10 minutes before arriving they picked up a Vietnamese couple, the man smelt strongly of booze and cigarettes and was standing up and leaning on my chair (no personal space whatsoever) unnecessarily as there was a spare seat. It seemed he was there to 'help' people to their stop by shouting aggressively the hotel name then 'help' with the bags by chucking them on the floor... Apart from that it was fine!

The organisation was terrible and the bus was overbooked. People sat on the floor in the aisles for 6 hours whilst people basically lay on each other at the back. The trip also took an hour longer than expected.

Just to clarify, we didn't complete the trip. I am 6feet tall and my wife is 5' 7" and didn't properly fit in the sleeper seats. For smaller people it looked great and clean
