Avant de réserver, demandez-vous si vous avez besoin d'un trajet express, ou si des traversées plus lentes sont également acceptables. Les tarifs de ces dernières sont beaucoup plus abordables. - Le bateau est le seul moyen d'atteindre certaines des îles. Et parmi elles se trouvent souvent les îles les plus belles, les plus paradisiaques, aux paysages de cartes postales où vous avez toujours rêvé d’aller !
- Plusieurs classes de billets sont souvent disponibles, ce qui vous permet de choisir le tarif, le niveau de confort, la durée du voyage et l'horaire qui vous conviennent le mieux.
- Réservez en ligne pour gagner du temps. Sur de nombreuses lignes, il est indispensable de réserver à l'avance. Cela concerne en premier lieu les trajets les plus longs, les voyages en période de forte affluence comme les fêtes nationales, les longs week-ends ou la haute saison. Il est également judicieux de réserver au moins plusieurs jours avant la date de votre voyage si votre destination est desservie par un nombre limité de trajets par jour.
- Voyager en ferry est très divertissant. Il est toujours agréable d’admirer les endroits que vous avez déjà visités sous un autre angle, et dans ce cas, depuis la mer. Presque toutes les destinations sont magnifiques vues de l'eau, et cela vous permettra de prendre de superbes photos.
Inconvénients du Voyage en Ferry
- Le mal de mer est la principale crainte des voyageurs qui choisissent le ferry. Plus le voyage est long et plus la mer est agitée, plus vous avez de chances de sentir votre estomac protester. Pour rendre votre voyage plus agréable, prenez un médicament adapté une demi-heure avant votre embarquement, et suivez nos recommandations ci-dessus.
- Les voyages en ferry dépendent fortement de la météo. Cela signifie que les jours de pluie, les départs peuvent être retardés, voire annulés. Il n'est pas rare que les liaisons par ferry, même avec les grandes îles, soient fermées pendant plusieurs jours en cas de temps orageux. Thierry ZLe chauffeur avait une conduite trop brusque et plutôt imprudente ! Un accident évité de peu. Des dépassements dangereux, il colle les véhicules devant lui ce qui l’oblige à freiner sec très souvent. Un voyage désagréable pour l’ensemble des passagers 🤮.

Respect des horaires, nous sommes même parti 10 minutes avant l'heure car tous les passagers étaient déjà à bord.
Le bateau était très récent et très confortable (chacun avait son propre siège, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas pour avoir pris d'autres transports de ce type). Des gilets de sauvetage sont présents sur chaque siège, ce qui peut en rassurer certains.

Anais BTrès peu d'explications, on ne sait pas où est le bateau, les gens ne savent pas Super, bien nous renseigner.
Les horaires indiqués ne sont pas du tout les mêmes, on est arrivé plus de 45 minutes en retard, il disait qu'on arrivait au prochain step dans 15 minutes, on a mis plus de 30 minutes.
Tout le monde disait tout et son contraire.
La clim était beaucoup trop forte, obligé de mettre un pull et même avec un pull, j'avais froid

Sozein SThe whole ride was so rough and bumpy that I have speedboat PTSD. I guess that’s not a fault of the crew and company which is why I left 3 stars. The seats were cramped and barely fit the number of us on. They did get us off on time but because we had to get passengers off at Phi Phi, it delayed our arrival time. I don’t think I can recommend this unless it’s the absolute last resort and the weather was perfect. There was no rain/storm alert but because of the monsoon season, the waves made rough seas.

Jane BIt was very bumpy but that’s normal for a speedboat, what we didn’t like was the stench of diesel fumes the whole way. One of the engines broke down halfway but they got it going quickly. After that it seemed like the smell was a bit less.

Aaron AWe waited at the Koh Lipe pier. Now there is a charge of 10 Baht per person to enter the pier. You will need a 10 Baht coin or you can change there too. Once you get in the pier, head to the counter to check in. They will give you a number. You turn to enter the boat is based on the number. The boatman will carry all your big luggages into the boat. Our boat took exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes. There is no delay whatsoever. Great job! I will book again next year!

This should have been thought about before the scheduled departure or the booking should at least have stipulated that a certain kg of luggage was allowed

And the AC Deck on Ferry to Koh lanta is an ice Chamber, we went outside after a few minutes and found a place on deck with fresh air.

Vivien FQuick way to get to Krabi from Phuket in a large covered speedboat . Stopped once on way back and let other passengers off.
If weather is ok then it’s smooth ride. It’s quite hot because of the roof coverings which don’t come off and impede a lovely view. But I guess it’s transport and not a pleasure ride.

Aaron OPretty easy to understand. We went at low season so there was no crowds and rushing.
Operators stand at the door of Rassada pier entrance, show your ticket and they’ll point you in the direction of the right desk. (There are 15+, for diff companies).
Check in, they’ll give you a ticket and wait to be called to walk to boat.
Plenty of food options in the Peir, so if you’re in a rush early morning, you can grab something decent there.
Staff were 10/10 - sea a little choppy, but that’s nothing on the operator.
