Mi mujer y yo llegamos tarde, pero el ferry todavía estaba allí, el equipaje no se había cargado y había gente de pie esperando y nos dijeron que llegábamos demasiado tarde. No llegábamos tarde, teníamos tiempo de sobra para que nos ayudaran a coger el ferry, pero decidieron no hacerlo. Todo fue como la seda, sólo el barco / ferry se balanceaba un poco. Tuvimos la suerte de que sólo había muy pocos pasajeros a bordo, así que tuvimos suficiente espacio y el viaje fue muy relajado. La comunicación vía WhatsApp fue muy buena. Llegamos unos 10 minutos tarde, así que estuvo bien.

En general fue un buen viaje a Kuah Jetty, pero tuvimos que llegar muy temprano al check in para el ferry, y luego tener que esperar más de 2 horas. También el ferry era un poco más tarde por lo que se añadió. El viaje en sí estuvo bien.

Took ages to get on the boat and off the boat, Koh Lipe doesn’t have a deep water pier so you have to take small boats out. The ferry itself was fully booked with no spare seats and lots of baggage, luckily it was a flat sea but I’m not sure how the boat would have handled rougher seas.

As should be expected by any Thai travel company.. To much waiting time, bad coordination and late departure. Chaos from start to end. Checked in early and went for a coke on a nearby beach restaurant. Came back 30 minutes prior to departure time as they wanted us to do. Had to stand and look at ppl getting loaded off the ferry by long tail boat for 15 minutes, then a few long tail boats departed with the first 50-60 (out of maybe 150-200) passengers for our transfer. Now a long tail boat stuffed with luggage from the ferry arrived 10 minutes before departure time and was unloaded in a huge pile on the dock while more ppl including the two of us were getting called to our long tail boats. Walking the floating and rocking plastic ponton bridge while they were unloading the luggage from the arriving passengers was mess for me and even more for my wife.. dont want think about the familys with small children on their arms 🙄. In the end we departed 20-25 minutes late (yea yea its Thai standard time 😂) Now arriving at the pier in Langkawi aprox 20-25 minutes late and everyone try to get out to immigration and pass Control as fast as possible while trying to get their luggage from the boat (all luggage was pilled up and a few rows of seats near the exit with no chance to get to the bottom once) via only one single person queue throughout the boat.. we went through the immigration and passport control almost 2 hours after the promised arrival time.

Loading of passengers to ferry from long tail is a bit rough and getting our passports held until the ferry is a bit nerve wrecking.
