No pudimos coger el autobús de Don Sak a Suratthani, porque estaba saturado... nadie pudo ayudarnos realmente y básicamente nos dejaron esperando más de una hora para coger otro autobús...
Cuando llegamos a Surratthani todo fue como la seda.
Pero la parada a las 2 de la mañana en un restaurante-cucaracha no era necesaria.
Asegúrate de coger suficientes bocadillos de queso antes del viaje :)))

We couldn’t take the bus from Don Sak to Suratthani, because it was overbooked… no one could really help us and they basically just left us waiting for more than an hour to catch a different bus…
As we arrived in Surratthani everything went smooth.
But the 2am stop at a cockroach-restaurant wasn’t needed.
Make sure to grab enough cheese sandwiches before the ride :)))

¡Todo bien! Cogimos un autobús a Bangkok. Primero te acompañan al ferry cuando ven que vienes de Pantip. Nada más bajar del ferry, te reciben y te dicen dónde y a qué hora te recogerá el autobús. El autobús te lleva a la ciudad de Suratani; allí esperas y haces transbordo al autobús que te lleva a Bangkok. Como ya se ha escrito, en el autobús sopla mucho el aire acondicionado - hay que llevar chaquetas. Te dan una manta. El autobús es normal. Los asientos no son muy cómodos, pero es lo que hay. Llegamos a Bangkok a las 5 de la mañana.

Все хорошо! довезли до Бангкока на автобусе. Сначала вас проводят на паром, когда увидят что вы от фирмы Пантип. Как только выходите с парома, вас встретят и скажут - где и во сколько заберет автобус. Автобус везет вас до города Суратани - там вы ждете и пересаживаетесь на автобус на Бангкок. Как уже писалось, в автобусе очень дуют кондишины - берите кофты. Дают правда покрывало. Автобус нормальный. Сиденья не очень удобные но то такое. Приехали в Бангкок в 5 утра.

Cogimos el ferry a las 14.00. Después del ferry (1,5 horas), el monovolumen nos llevó inmediatamente a la ciudad de Surat thani (aproximadamente 1 hora). Esperamos
la llegada del autobús grande un par de horas en un pequeño local donde se podía comer cocina tailandesa. El autobús grande era cómodo, los asientos se reclinan y te dan una manta. Por el camino, el autobús para media hora en un pequeño punto de avituallamiento. Llegamos a Bangkok puntuales, a las 5 de la mañana.

We took the ferry at 2.00 pm. After the ferry (1.5 hours) the minivan immediately took us to surat thani town (about 1 hour). We waited
for the arrival of the big bus a couple of hours in a small place where you could eat Thai cuisine. The big bus was comfortable, the seats recline and they give you a blanket. On the way, the bus stops for half an hour at a small refreshment point. We arrived in Bangkok on time at 5 a.m.

Ferry was fine, so was the shuttle bus (to the bus station) and the minivan to Surat Thani was also fine. The sleeper bus was terrible. We had water leaking on us the whole journey. Got to a point where water was pouring onto both of the seats and we both ended up sitting on one seat for a while. Eventually managed to find a new seat (thank goodness the bus wasn’t full), driver didn’t help (tbf I don’t think he really understood what we were saying but still was no use). Stopped for dinner at 12:30am and had to pay extra as it wasn’t included in the price of the ticket. Then got back on the bus and tried to sleep (very difficult when you have a loudly snoring man in front of you - not the bus company’s fault but still annoying). The seats were the most uncomfortable bus seats I’ve sat on (and i’ve been on a LOT). Very hard, barely recline, completely flat (so your head falls down when you sleep and you wake up with severe neck pain). Overall calling it a sleeper bus is a bit of a push (because no sleep really did occur) but they got us from point A to B within the correct timings so we can only complain so much.

When we arrived Khao San Road, there was heavily raining and the bus driver dropped off all passengers in the open space beside the road and everyone got wet. It’s really difficult to hire taxi or car in the heavy rain and it was terrible. The driver should drop off the passengers where we can stay for awhile till the rain stop.
