Unplanned change to another minibus. In the second bus the place was limited, as there was a lot of baggage. I basically had to sit in half a place.

Bus station was easy to find and everyone was nice. Journey took us back near Chiang Mai. We had to change bus half way through and the first bus was more comfy but journey was okay. Stopped twice for toilets and food.

Left on time, drove around and picked up a few other people in town before heading off. Had one stop between pai and chiang Mai at a cafe. Switched vans on the side of the road a bit outside of chiang Mai to head to chiang rai. Also stopped for a bathroom break halfway here. The morning van for this company includes a stop at the white temple which isn’t mentioned anywhere and feels like a waste of time since most people plan to visit it some other time. Arrived 30 minutes late. Overall a fine experience but wish we didn’t stop at the temple or have to go back in to chiang mai

There was a big lack of communication between the passengers and the operators. For example, half way through the trip, the bus suddenly stopped and we were told to switch to another bus. We didn’t understand why and when we asked the operators, they didn’t provide any explanation. When we arrived in Chiang Rai, the one operator started demanding 40 Baht from each passenger. When I asked why we had to pay additional money, he just very aggressively said “for my services”. To this day I don’t know why we had to pay additionally to what the trip was. The passengers felt very uncomfortable with the operators.

First part was good. Second part was bad. dirty car, ants on the laguage and and a useless lunch-stop 20 minutes befor arrival by the white temple.

First vehicle we had was comfortable, spacious, and had good ac. Unfortunately we switched to a different van around the Chiang Mai area and it was a whole lot different: compact seats and no ac. Also I was sitting in the back with my girlfriend so I had a mountain of bags to my right. I was sweating to say the least. Important to note the roads from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai and extremely rough - bumpy 90%.

The ride from Pai to Chiang Mai was good. The ride from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai was terrible, the driver was overtaking where he shouldn’t and was speeding in urban areas.

We caught the bus from Pai to Chiang Rai. Just bear in mind that when doing this route you do change mini buses at the side of the road just outside of Chiang Mai for those who head on to go to Chiang Rai. The mini bus itself was absolutely fine, and the driver was very nice & drove well. If you suffer with travel sickness I would definitely recommend buying some anti sickness pills! There was a stop on both trips to use the toilet and buy snacks if needed. Do not trust google maps with the location of the bus stop, it’s further up the road than maps would suggest, the picture on the ticket is helpful though. I would definitely recommend this company to travel with.
