Eric Un viaje agradable. La furgoneta era muy nueva, bien cuidada y cómoda. El conductor era muy agradable y un excelente conductor. Las múltiples paradas a lo largo del viaje realmente ayudaron a romper el viaje de casi 7 horas. La única cosa que podría haber mejorado la experiencia habría sido si nos hubieran informado de las paradas y cuándo esperarlas y también del hecho de que tendríamos que cambiar de autobús a mitad del viaje. Fue una sorpresa total.

Camila Se suponía que era un viaje directo a Chiang Rai, pero tuvimos que cambiar dos veces de van. Una de ellas en Chiang Mai. Y para colmo, cuando estabamos por llegar paró en el Templo Blanco por 20 minutos, ninguno supo por que. Todos nos quedamos esperando los 20 minutos para volver a subirnos. Me arrepiento de haber ido en Van, era más barato ir en bus, aunque tuvieras que cambiar al llegar a Chiang Mai, al final pagando más tuve que cambiar dos veces.

Elisabeth Podríamos haber reservado exactamente el mismo viaje desde Pai por menos dinero, pero lo habíamos reservado con antelación con 12Go. No era una gran diferencia y como estábamos viajando en una línea de tiempo que nos convenía tener esto ya organizado. Así que para el viaje ....Todo el mundo estaba a tiempo para salir de Pai bar una persona que claramente dormido y confusamente nos dimos la vuelta y volvió a recoger después de que el conductor recibió una llamada telefónica. Podría haber sido la razón por la que nuestro conductor condujo como un loco de la velocidad por la colina haciendo que mi hija mayor se mareara en el coche a pesar del doble de pastillas para el mareo que había tomado. Tuvimos que cambiar de autobús en Chiang Mai y a nuestra familia de cuatro miembros nos metieron en los 4 últimos asientos de otro minibús. La carretera entre Chiang Mai y Chiang Rai estaba sin asfaltar en muchas partes debido a unas obras importantes, pero a nuestro nuevo conductor no le importó mucho y pasamos por todos los baches a toda velocidad, lo que provocó más mareos. La parada para comer fue horrible e innecesariamente larga, la parada en el Templo Blanco a las afueras de Chiang Rai estuvo bien porque significaba que no teníamos que volver allí. La "parada de autobús" en Chiang Rai estaba enfrente de una plaza comercial y los taxistas se negaron a llevarnos con el taxímetro. Al final conseguimos que nos llevaran al albergue por 80 baht. Fue un día muy largo e incómodo, pero nos llevó adonde teníamos que ir.

HAGER El viaje duró mucho más de lo anunciado. Llegamos con más de 3h30 de retraso a nuestro destino, donde nos dejaron a un lado de la carretera casi a medianoche, a 10 km del centro de la ciudad. Andy Nos reunimos con el conductor en la oficina justo a tiempo, pero podríamos haberlo recogido en el hotel si lo hubiéramos sabido. Tuvimos que esperar a un grupo grande que llegaba tarde, por lo que la parada del desayuno fue mucho más corta para poder reunirnos en Chiang Mai con el autobús de Chiang Rai. Marylene l transporte fue bien. En Pai, a las 6:30am no había nadie en el punto de encuentro (terminal Greenn) así que pensé que me habían "engañado" pero a las 7:05am paró una minivan para llevarme como había reservado. Hay un traslado en minivan (por Chiang Mai creo) el 2º conductor me pareció un poco "temerario" casi le recuerdo que mi objetivo era llegar de una pieza a Chiang Rai....

Michael Un servicio fantástico. Nos recogieron en el hotel y nos llevaron directamente a Pai sin tener que cambiar de autobús.
El autobús no estaba abarrotado, el aire acondicionado era bueno y nos detuvimos a mitad de camino para ir al baño / comer (muy necesario ya que las carreteras ventosas pueden inducir náuseas en el mejor de nosotros).

Samuel Wchaos. You have to get off the bus at one border, pass through, back on another, get off again, pass through the laos border, then back on another bus. felt like being herded sheep. Laos border tried scamming us for "stamping fee" on passports, no support through the border passage etc as we had evisa's so staff focused on those getting visas on arrival. Just told "wait for my friend" at the other side of the border, no way of knowing who this was and he didnt know our names either, very little real organisation and so much potential to have gone wrong. Bus wasn't particularly comfy either. 15 mins late

India RArrived at the terminal and was immediately told that we wouldn’t be allowed on the bus unless we paid extra for our bags, which we asked for further clarification about due to the fact we’ve taken probably a dozen bus journeys over the last two months, and haven’t had to pay extra once.
Then the man in charge came over and begun screaming in our faces, physically intimidating us and accusing us of being liars.
He said we were lying about paying for luggage even though we’d never said that, he’d just misunderstood us and immediately gone mental!
He told us we weren’t allowed on the bus even when we tried to give him the money and essentially he left us stranded in pai alone.
The man most likely wouldn’t have spoken to two men like this but, as we were two young girls he essentially bullied and verbally berated us.

Kelsie JThe first bus coming into chiang mai from pai was extremely comfortable and spacious for the 1.5 hour journey it took. However the second bus we got moved to driving to chiang rai which is longer roughly 3.5 hours was not so comfy and felt very squished. Seats were very verticle and no one had room to recline the seats. The driver was super nice and always made sure to tell us if there was a longer stretch with no stops ensuring everyone to get snacks/ bathroom breaks if needed before. Overall it was a good experience and felt safe. Good cheap option to get from Pai to chiang Rai! Would do it again.

Huw WReally good company. They help you through the laos border and was a smooth transition. MAKE SURE YOUR DOLLAR OR CURRENCY YOU PAY FOR IS FLAT AND PERFECT. they will not let you in otherwise. If you can get your hands on dollars it's the best rate. The bus from the border to the train is very bumpy so be prepared but as far as the company they are very good and I would recommend using them. The staff are great and very kind and you get a lunch included, which is never a bad thing.

JoAnna MWe made it safely to our destination. The driver was fast but kept us safe. The van was not very clean but comfortable enough. We were allowed 4 luggage and had 3 luggage and 1 wheelchair. So we thought that would all be covered for the 4 as paid and listed when booked. I was unhappy to have to pay an extra 200 baht for an assistive device.overall ok experience.

Malena BThe driver was so lovely. Went from chiang mai to the Laos border, took 6 hours in total with 3 stops along the way. I can’t fault the driver, I felt very safe. I was the only person going to Huay Xai, everyone else was going to chiang rai, so spent the remaining 2 hours on my own. Amazing service! Got picked up at 7:15am the next day with a tuktuk and I was guided on what to do. Everything went smoothly! The slow boat was amazing and I HIGHLY recommend, the scenes are incredible. Definitely get yourself outside on the front of the boat to really take everything in. 10/10
