They brought us to the wrong pier in Koh Samui… but still the right island:-)

We complained to customer service and the operator said they cleaned the toilet that smell very very bad. He only stopped to let us off to get something to eat 6 hours after we left bangkok. He did not stop at convenience store for us to buy something to eat. He stopped next to road.

Best driver from Krabi to another stop (to VIP bus)

Good. But goes far out of the way to pick lots of people up

No instructions on what was to happen. Waiting around without knowing when we were getting picked up. The ferry left 2:30 not 3 as stated. Coach was freezing cold with no way of changing temperatures. You stated one case one hand luggage. 2 ladies got on with lots of bags and cases that were stored by us and kept falling on to us. Worst travel we have done. I called and what’s append your customer service and no reply 😡

I order vip bus, all the vans on the way there were delayed. Abd when we got to the bus he was really crowded and not comfortable:/

Booked two tickets to Ao Nang but what they don't tell you is that there is a minibus connection in Surat Thani where they charge you again to get to your actual destination hotel. 200 baht each and if you lose your paper ticket some people get charged double. Poor communication and a bit of a scam.

Bus ride from Bangkok to Surat Thani was good. However at Surat Thani it wasn't clear how long we would be waiting for our next transport. Operator at Surat Thani was also trying to get us to pay extra to drop us at hostel and refused to tell us the how far it was from bus stop to hostel - "no time to tell you, 100baht. Too far to walk". Turns out it was a 2 minute walk, and there were also some free taxis at the other end...

It's about the communication. I updated the place where I should be picked up to the pick-up portion, even included the url of the map so that they can but of to no use at all. They called me expecting I can communicate well in Thai, I confirmed the pick-up location which is my hotel but he asked about the soi, I have relayed it as per the owner of the hotel but the one who called me seem to be very confused. I asked the owner to talk to the onr who called me so everything would get fixed. I was told to wait in 20 minutes more but it took more than an hour wait. The experience is horrible, anticipation and anxiety to the highest level. - This refers to the van that picked me up not the bus.

Very very bad. I booked van from Hat Yai to Penang but lost my money because van did not come. I waited 1 hour at stop so called Lee Garden Plaza, I hate this name.

Comfy. Good service. There was alot of waiting for connections, though.

The service was great, but unfortunately the driver stopped so much an the lay over took to long. They said I arrived 11:50. But this was 16:00. This made my trip a bit uncomfortable. But for the rest everything was top!

Other than major discrepancies in advertising the trip, such as no mention of a Van from Krabi to Surat Thani and the 2 hour lay over in Surat Thani...Once on the bus it was a good trip. There were quite a few trips advertised that mentioned the van and bus combination.

No difference between VIP and regular class

This honestly wasn't a bad trip like others have claimed, I think some people just have too high of a standard, especially for SE Asia. In saying that, don't pay for VIP, all tickets are the same. No seat allocations so you need to ensure you get on the bus earlier to get a seat you want. Water and snacks were provided. We travelled from Bangkok to Koh Samui and had no issues. You do a transfer to shuttle buses at Surat Thani that takes you to your respective destination or ferry terminal. PSA it's also cheaper to buy tickets online than at the shop, they can't price match 12go

On time, comfortable seats

SCAM ALERT! DON'T BOOK! Pathetic service by BBC Khaosan. Only the first bus from Khaosan to Surat Thani is good. After that - your journey will be hell.

Bus trip was very uncomfortable

The bus was supposed to pick me up at 15:30, however it did not show up. I tried calling the number on the ticket and no one would pick up. At 17:30 a bus shown up and it was mine. It seemed super unorganised and if the bus is supposed to show up at 17:30 not the time stayed on the booking they need to change it or let customers know. Other than that I had no issues with this service.

First 10 hours with the big buss was great but the last 4 hours with mini van was horrible, warm and too cramped. I am kinda tall so it didn’t make things better

I have to wait 3 hours and take 3 different Bus. Only nice where the worker in Bangkok .

From Koh lanta to Bangkok. You take a couple of vans, and then you arrive to the main bus. We used the VIP bus and it was comfortable. Overall good experience.

Ok but a quite pour level of information. There was a connexion. I arrived only around 12:00 at Krabi ( supposedly at 9:20) and had no transfer to my hotel as expected

Booking process quiklck and easy. Pick up point nor very clear. Buses could have been in better conditions (toilet pretty disgusting, A/C grid either missing or not closing (impossible to avoid getting cold air blown at you), The bus trip booked was Bangkok to Donsak Ferry Pier. Nowhere it was mentioned that the bus would finish its journey in Surat Thani, where we had to wait for another transport in order to get to Donsak Pier. Not only we were abruptly awaken, then we had to wait a while to board a small minibus. I was almost left there as the driver would not let me board it, insisting that i did not have a ticket to Donsak. Then the lady working at the bus stop told me i could get in the bus but i had to travel sitting on a sort floor next to the driver, unless i wanted to wait for the next minubus in the next hour or so. Not to mention that last part of the trip was very uncomfortable. Not the best first experienced i was expecting with 12go Asia

No food and no water provided. The staff shouted at us to hurry up. The toilets on the bus were the worst I have ever seen. It was so cramped that we couldn't even turn around, it was dirty, we couldn't flush the toilet and there was no bin. As a woman, it was horrible.

Getting on the bus was a little stressful. We were under the impression it was one bus all the way there. We were awoken at dawn, and told we had to change buses. Again that was a little stressful & confusing, we were eventually put on a mini bus and taken to a government bus. After 16 and a half hours we reached our destination!

Lack of information regarding pick up

Promised WiFi and tv was not working. Air condition on my seat was defect and dropped always in my neck. USB charger were also defect.

It was a great ride. Friendly workers and a lot of space for me to sit.

There was no WiFi, no TV-Screen. The Meal was not tasty, and as there was no explanation, it took time until we figured out, that we hat to switch our coupons to other coupons to get on certain stations food. No water.
