As should be expected by any Thai travel company.. To much waiting time, bad coordination and late departure. Chaos from start to end. Checked in early and went for a coke on a nearby beach restaurant. Came back 30 minutes prior to departure time as they wanted us to do. Had to stand and look at ppl getting loaded off the ferry by long tail boat for 15 minutes, then a few long tail boats departed with the first 50-60 (out of maybe 150-200) passengers for our transfer. Now a long tail boat stuffed with luggage from the ferry arrived 10 minutes before departure time and was unloaded in a huge pile on the dock while more ppl including the two of us were getting called to our long tail boats. Walking the floating and rocking plastic ponton bridge while they were unloading the luggage from the arriving passengers was mess for me and even more for my wife.. dont want think about the familys with small children on their arms 🙄. In the end we departed 20-25 minutes late (yea yea its Thai standard time 😂) Now arriving at the pier in Langkawi aprox 20-25 minutes late and everyone try to get out to immigration and pass Control as fast as possible while trying to get their luggage from the boat (all luggage was pilled up and a few rows of seats near the exit with no chance to get to the bottom once) via only one single person queue throughout the boat.. we went through the immigration and passport control almost 2 hours after the promised arrival time.
