The check in process was chaotic and we didn’t know where to wait or when to get ready for check in. According to the pdf we had to check in at the resort hotel near the pier but there was a pick up point, too so we had to ask multiple times to make sure we are at the correct spot. The pier was also not safe to walk with heavy luggages…

Locals and staff were very helpful. Queuing system is a little chaotic but that’s what it is like in the whole of Thailand. Worth the peace of mind to pre-book. Probably only need to get there 15mins

It’s a lie about the time taking 30 minutes, took like 50 min and whether was good, plus the boat was 30 minutes late so a trip that was advertised as 30 min took me almost 1,5 hours
Not a bad trip, but the boat broke down on the way and they had to fix it so journey took a little longer than it should have done!

Great ferry, checking in an hour before departure is not a good idea, you stand in the hot sun at the pier. But the crossing itself was really nice. Spring for VIP area, it’s worth it.
Good speedboat, managed to book last minute in the app. Wasn't delayed much. However, a bit confusing in regards to check-in. Had to ask around, in the end it wasn't at the pier but in an office next to it.
