Julia CMy journey from Siem Reap to Don Det started off well, with the driver arriving on time and the van being comfortable and air conditioned. The main source of disappointment for this trip was when the driver stopped at a restaurant on the side of the road about an hour from the border into Laos. We were stopped at the restaurant for around an hour, with the staff pressuring us to purchase a slew of items: passport photos, currency exchange, SIM cards, boat tickets. After telling them that we didn’t need any of these items, they told us that there wouldn’t be another opportunity to purchase what they were selling, which was a blatant lie. They told us that we wouldn’t be able to purchase boat tickets to Don Det once arriving in Nakasong, and told us their $5 ticket was our only option. When we arrived at Nakasong, we found that not only could you purchase boat tickets there, but they only cost $1. The same was true of the SIM cards and the passport photos- restaurant staff telling foreigners that buying overpriced items from them is their only option or else they’ll be stranded with nothing while attempting to cross the border. This practice is predatory and wrong.
The rest of the journey was marred by unexplainable delays, where our van would sit idling for an hour before moving again, with no explanation given to us. We were supposed to arrive at Don Det around 2pm and didn’t arrived until around 7pm. I’d like to hope that this type of predatory practice isn’t a part of future 12Go journeys I take.

Carol PFive stars for communication from start to finish. Very professional and helpful and always available quickly to answer any questions. The journey was well organised and mostly comfortable. I would have given 5 stars for the journey, but the last leg of the trip we were transferred to another vehicle which was a very old and rusty van with cracks on the windscreen and I felt the driver drove way too fast given the condition of the van, which felt very uncomfortable to me. However, we arrived safe and sound.

Clara BWe planned to arrive at 4:00pm in Don Det and we arrived at 7pm. They made us wait 2h30 in a cafeteria close to the border of Laos. They told us we were waiting 2 persons from Phnom Penh and that we would only wait 40min but it was 2h30. Every time we asked they said 15minutes more. In the cafeteria there was also a man who told us to change money with him because the change in Don Det is very bad and we did it and when we arrived it was better the change they offered in the island then with the man. This man was working with the bus.

Mark JWe booked a bus from Siem Reap to Don Det and it was a complete mess from start to finish. The vehicle was completely overcrowded — both with passengers and luggage. We were crammed into a small minivan with barely any space to breathe, let alone sit comfortably.
The trip to the border took over 6 hours, during which the driver only stopped once for a short toilet break. That’s simply unreasonable — I expected at least a stop every two hours.
At the border, things got even worse: the bus drove off without part of the group, just because the immigration process took too long. Only after several phone calls did the bus finally return. The driver was visibly annoyed, roughly threw our bags back into the van, and his driving was absolutely reckless.
This entire journey was disorganized, disrespectful, and honestly dangerous. I would never book with this company again and do not recommend it to anyone.
