How to use Hokuriku Arch Pass?
Exchange your voucher for tickets at the office Exchange locations: Tokyo station, Odawara, Atami, Gotemba, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Osaka. Go to Green Ticket Vending Machines and pick up a Physical Ticket by scanning the QR code on e-tickets and non-Japanese passports. Reserved seat tickets can be reserved at a green ticket vending machine or a station ticket office.
Hokuriku Arch Pass Eligibility
- Tourists Only. Available exclusively for short-term international visitors to Japan.
- Temporary Visitor Status. Upon arrival in Japan, you must have a "Temporary Visitor" status, so keep your passport as proof.
- Purchase online before your trip.
- Activation. Exchange your order at a JR station within three months to activate the pass.
Seat Reservations
- Free seat reservations (except for Hayabusa and Komachi trains).
- Non-reserved seats only for these two.
- Haruka Airport Express seat reservations are not allowed.
- For all other services, unlimited reservations at JR ticket offices or up to 6 via ticket machines.
Important Information
- A separate Limited Express ticket is required for the Tohoku-Hokkaido Shinkansen "Hayabusa" and the Akita Shinkansen "Komachi."
- For Gran Class, both a separate Gran Class ticket and a Limited Express ticket are necessary.
- To use First Class (Green Car), purchase a separate First Class (Green) ticket and a Limited Express ticket.
- If traveling with a reserved seat, book your seat in advance.
- An additional fee for trains or cars requiring numbered or liner tickets will apply.
