Transportation from Hanoi to Sapa

Hanoi to Sapa Destination Reviews

Our Driver was very kind (altho hardly spoke/understood English), but the whole organization from the operator was bad. We had been told we’d be picked up at our hotel but the night before they said we had to go to a pickup point and be there at least 30 mins prior to departure - which we did and ended up waiting more than an hour to be picked up (because the driver went to everyone else’s hotels o pick them up…). The seats in the car left a lot to wish for in terms of comfort (my seat didn’t even have a functioning seat belt). Giving 3 stars only so the driver doesn’t get a bad review (otherwise I would give 1 star to 12Go and the organization).

The journey itself was fine. However, we had real problems

Very good. Comfortable & clean, driver drive at reasonable safe speed.

Transport was good but they were 1 hour late

The Van was comfy and nice, plus the seat belt worked. Though the USB port on my side didn't worked I used another one to charge my phone.

Van Driver speaks no English. He drove wrong and we lost nearly one hour. The van itself was good, but most of the other tourists brought too much luggage and then we cant adapt our seat at the back proberly. Lunch break was ok.

Driving dangerous. Drivers are rude. On our way back they menace to throw our luggage and not get us back to hanoi because we refused to change seats (on the ticket puts first come first seat we came the first and they shouted at us and threat us saying we won’t travel unless we chaged seats). Rude and agressive people.

We were on time 7:15 (pick up 7:30) bus was already gone and we had to wait. We needed to go in the back, we did not get any option. No eating allowed which I can understand. We arrived at a break point and driver suddenly got out and left, did not tell us how long the break would be. Driving like crazy in the mountains and almost made an accident. He did ask us were our hotel was and dropped us off so that was really nice.

Sitting in the back was really annoying. All the rest was perfect
