Bus arrived to Hué about 1 hour late. The ride was not very comfortable. Bus driver brakes often, makes bus rock back and forth. Hard time sleeping. The beds are good, usb charging is available. But the seat belts are very bad. They only tighten, they dont loosen. So if you have the seatbelt on, you cant really move because it wont move with you. It will stay very tight. You have to remove it everytime you turn.

Pickup location mentioned in the ticket was 1 KM away from the actual pickup point. Bus was 40 minutes late. There was no communication regarding bus number unless I asked from my side over call. The seat in the bus was not long enough to accommodate a 5.8 feet long human.

I paid for a Deluxe trip, but apparently the coach was in repair and we got a substandard coach with hard beds, we had to pay for coffee and tea and the attendant didn’t communicate this well. Also, we asked if the trip could be booked earlier, and I received an answer after more than two days when we were already at the station platform.

We booked the VIP-train for a lot of money so that we good have a good night in the train. The coupé we’ve slept in was really uncomfortable: we had a very hard sound during our trip, constantly, hard boink. The good thing were the matrasses, they were soft and we got something to drink (2 Coca cola, 2 beer and 4 water) and something to eat (Bread, butter, creamcheese, a cookie and pie with meat). It wasn’t wearth the extra amout of money.
