Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang Destination Reviews

WM
More than two hours late without any explanation. Plus, one of the guys off the staff shouted at us when we simply asked if we could use one of the beds below because we were with a 2-year-old child (the bed was empty the entire trip, so it wouldn’t have been a problem).

From HCM to Nha Trang. The bus reception had WC and free snacks and drinks. The staff spoke good English. Bus left on time. The bus was clean and had good AC. Pillows and blankets were excellent and whilst a bit of rocking it was a really comfortable ride. Seat was comfortable and slept for 5 hours of the 7 hour trip. Worth it.

The sleeper coach was clean, on time and staff helpful. We booked a double cabin but we're in to separate ones, no big deal , just not what we booked. Toilet on board was clean. I slept for the majority of the journey.

All was good - bus left 30minutes late- we didn't stop at any big food place so make sure to bring enough - and make sure to not drink too much water or you'll have to pee.

Perfect timing, at the ticket office we received the printout of the booked ticket, The bus was the one we saw in the pictures, the drop off location instead was not exactly the place indicated on the booking. However for us was at the same distance from our hotel.the bus was very clean and the sleeping was good. There was a little issue on the USB and the tv that were not always working. Overall very very good.

The trip was great but we arrived 2 hours later than what was promised in the offer. I think during day traffic its not possible to make it in 6 hours as promissed. Bear this in mind when planning your trip. Every other aspect of the ride was great. There was even 1 15-minute stop to go to normal toilet.

We travelled from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang, our journey taking around nine hours. The coach itself was quite comfortable, but the communication from the staff was abysmal. When we reached Nha Trang, we were dropped at a coach station that was not listed on our ticket. When I tried to ask the driver if this was the final stop, I was virtually ignored. A minibus eventually arrived to collect us, but we were dropped a ten minute walk away from the destination listed on our ticket. The minibus driver also dumped our bags on the floor in the middle of the road, when we were quite happy to collect them from the minibus ourselves. My backpack was filthy by the time we arrived. Whilst I appreciate we are in Vietnam and can’t expect the staff to speak English, it would be useful to have written instructions prior to the journey to explain where precisely we were going to be dropped and whether alternative transport would be used later in the journey. The toilet breaks on the sleeper coach were also few and far between. The driver did, however, find time to have cigarette breaks at the side of the road. I can’t help but wonder why he did not stop somewhere more appropriate so that passengers could use the restroom whilst he smoked. Ultimately, we did arrive at our destination in one piece, but the experience was just bewildering and much worse in terms of service compared to the coaches we’d used in neighbouring Cambodia.
