Hanoi to Sapa Destination Reviews

MF
The bus left on time. We stopped twice to use the bathroom on the way, and we were able to buy some food. I recommend this bus company to everyone, no complaints.

We were travelling from Hanoi to Sapa with them. Unfortunately it was a very unpleasent experience. The bus was disgustingly dirty and very old. The seats were broken as well as the seatbelts. The driver exceeded the speed limit for the whole drive. He was going so fast, that the wheels lost contact to the road in some turns and the bus sometimes almost fell over to the side. This was extremely dangerous when we were driving on the Sapa serpentine roads. Especially with the broken seatbelts, providing no safety at all. We also stopped just outside of Hanoi and waited half an our for some chinese people, that apparently were important, because we picked them up at a golf club and waited so long for them, with everyone else already in the bus. We wouldn‘t ever travel with Sapa Dragon Express again.

It was raining heavy in Hanoi at the departure time and the bus delayed 30 minutes in departing, but its logic due to the weather. However, it arrived on time to Sapa. Our backpacks ended up very wet.

Trying to find the bus was very very chaotic and the bus drivers were incredibly rude and pushing people around for no reason. The rest of the ride was fine. Stopped for Bathrooms and food twice and were over an our early.

The bus ride itself was very good — the journey was smooth and the sleeper seat was comfortable. However, the communication with the company could definitely be improved. I would recommend double-checking the departure time in advance, as there might be last-minute changes. Overall, a comfortable trip, but better coordination and clearer updates would make the experience even better.

Bus was okay apart from the long stopover in pitstops which is a waste of time.
