Very disappointing experience. The sleeper train from Ninh Binh to Hue was terrible. When we arrived, the staff were asleep, no one provided us with dinner, and the bar was closed. The door to our compartment wouldn’t even close properly. We had to complain just to get some water, as none of the basic amenities were provided. There wasn’t even a pillow. On top of that, we weren’t properly informed about our arrival time in Hue. Overall, everything was extremely poorly organized and nowhere near what we paid for. We felt completely ripped off.

Arrived an hour and half late with no reason. Originally 8:30hr trip took 10.2 hours. We stopped 20 minutes into the journey for food which was wierd considering we had the rest of the day and after that we didn’t stop until about 1 hours before we reached our destination (we also weren’t told the first stop was the only food stop, had we of know, we would of got some food for the journey). We were starving having eaten at 8am and didn’t eat till 7pm. It of an annoying trip but the coach itself was clean and tidy.
