We booked well ahead of the trip and got a comfirmation. When we arrived at the office 1 hour before the departure we checked in and everything was okay. BUT when the bus arrived it turned out there wasn’t any place for us. We had to get off the bus and the bus left without us. We had no where to go and the company didn’t want to compensate anything. We only got a refund and that’s it. We had plans we paid for in Sapa, so we had to get to Sapa that night. We kept asking if they could get us a taxi because it was their fault we couldn’t get on the bus but they said no. We do have to say that the employee at the office was very sorry and in the end called a taxi for us but the company didn’t really care and didn’t want to pay anything extra. TO SUMMARIZE: the company made a mistake which resulted in us getting a taxi to Sapa which costed us THREE TIMES as much as the bus. We are really dissapointed because the company got lots of great reviews and we are very unhappy with them

1. I came 1hr before the departure time and registered. Then on name calling my name was missed. Ans i have to approached the attendant and figure out they didnt check me in. 2. On the bus, they give me the last cabin where the drivers use to sleep. The small and narrow space. They told me that there will be a stop that they will transfer me to other bus for comfort but then it turned out the whole trip. I have videos and photos of the conversation i had with the operator and my bad situation. I paid extra for the lower bed to have comfort and i got bad cabin!

The bus had fixed seats and it was great to lay down compared to sitting for such a long bus ride. But it’s still a bus going through noisy traffic on Vietnamese roads, so I wouldn’t expect to get much sleep. Drivers don’t know much English but they do their best with google translate. Our bus to Sapa was also 1,5 hours late due to traffic jam, bad weather and many scheduled stops.

We had very nice travel from Hanoi to Sapa. Communication before the trip was excellent, I got informative text message one day before departure. I travelled with 3 kids (age 5 - 10 years) and everyone enjoyed the journey. We all had separate cabins and there was a toilet in the bus. We had one stop and journey went really smoothly. Drivers didn’t speak much English, but it wasn’t an issue. Only negative thing was that we were 1,5 hours late in Sapa.

The bus stop at many places dropping parcels along the way instead of straight to the destination. The driver not friendly and not be able to communicate. Overall going to places like Sapa shouldn't take a sleeper bus. It's not COMFORTABLE.

I took the VIP 22 cabin bus from Hanoi to Sapa and it was honestly such a comfortable experience. The private cabin felt spacious, clean, and peaceful, with a flat bed, USB charger, and curtain for privacy. I slept most of the trip and arrived feeling refreshed. The staff were helpful and the journey was smooth with a couple of rest stops. Definitely worth it if you want a quiet, cozy ride. Highly recommend for solo travelers too.
