The organisation of the transfer was excellent, and they took extra care of me after I informed them that I was injured. The seats were comfortable; however, there was a really bad smell of mould, which made the 12-hour journey quite unpleasant. Usb charger also not working on my seat, and light not working on my husband seat.

The bus was really late and we had a delay from about more then 3 hours. We have to change the bus in Hue in the middle of knowhere and nobody speaks English or tried to translate from Vietnamese.

We left 30 minutes later, but arrived on time, so all good with that. The beds were comfy and got to sleep well. Unfortunately, for some reason they were not using the bus luggage compartments so all bags were kept inside empty cabins and, for some of the trip, on the corridor, because there was not a lot of space for them we had to keep over half of our bags on the bed with us which kind of took away that nice comfort the bed had, important to acknowledge they found a solution to a problem they had but it was the first time we saw that and it influenced the experience. Otherwise the trip was good until around 5/6 am the next day getting close to our destination when the driver (probably trying to arrive as soon as possible) kept buzzing vehicles on the road (to overtake them) for 20 minutes or so which made it impossible to sleep for that time.

We weren’t able to make the bus due to food poisoning, but I really want to give the bus owner some credit. He texted me and checked in about how I was feeling. I had booked a train for the next day, he asked if I wanted him to fix someone to pick me up from the train station- free of charge. 10/10 costumer service!
