Very disappointing experience. The bus arrived one hour late. Pickup was scheduled for 10:30, but when no one showed up I had to contact the company myself. I was told to “wait 10 minutes”…the bus eventually arrived at 11:30. There was no proactive communication or apology. The bus itself was in poor condition, both inside and out. It was dirty, and my partner’s seat wouldn’t recline, leaving it stuck lying down for the entire journey. During the journey, the bus had to stop at a mechanic due to mechanical issues, which caused further delays. It also repeatedly went off the designated route to pick up local passengers, some of whom did not have seats and were made to sit in the aisle, adding to the overcrowded and uncomfortable conditions. The journey took much longer than expected, with only two short breaks, and we arrived at our final destination 3 hours later than advertised. We were meant to be dropped at a designated spot in Hue, but instead were dropped elsewhere and had to take an additional 20-minute taxi ride at our own expense. Before travelling, we had asked to change our end destination from Da Nang to Hue, which the company agreed to, however, they refused to refund the price difference. Throughout the day I tried messaging them to resolve these issues, but my messages were ignored and communication completely stopped. I wouldn’t recommend this company.

The train was exactly as advertised, four bunks in one room. Train arrived in Ninh Binh on time but was late to Da Nang. But, the beds are so hard, I mean like boards.

Until we boarded the bus, things were a bit chaotic. The pickup was delayed by about 20 minutes. While waiting, we talked with other travelers and realized that we had different departure times. Most likely, several buses were combined, but we were not properly informed about this. We had booked upper cabins but were assigned lower ones instead. When we complained, no one seemed to care. The beds were at least comfortable, and we were provided with a blanket and a pillow. Overall, we found the journey rather exhausting. The bus stopped frequently and there was a lot of honking, which repeatedly woke us up.

The bus uses a car type seat which is laid flat . It's not long enough to accommodate a person with 5 foot 8 inch or 174 cm . As the bed is not completely flat , you will end up having a back pain. I suggest to take train for the comfort. The bus operator and everything was ok . The seats were bad. Which leads to discomfort after you wake up .

Information not clear at time of booking. Please make more clear: VIP sleeper means only one bed, not whole compartment. There will be other guests too. Bed was filthy, full of hair from previous guest.

Communication was very poor. A bus was supposed to pick me up at 20:15, but I was later informed that it would arrive at 20:40. Instead of a bus, a small limousine picked me up. No one explained where I was being taken. We didn’t start the night trip to Da Nang until 21:30. I booked this bus because it was advertised as a shorter journey than other night buses. I was supposed to depart at 20:15 and arrive at 5:30 a.m., but instead the trip ran from 20:40 until 10:00 a.m., when we finally arrived in Da Nang. I understand that they don’t speak much English, but there was very little effort to communicate the changes. This was frustrating, as I had to keep asking for information.
