Required to take 3 different buses/cars for a 2 hour journey. Started off in a car driving around Hanoi picking people up, middle bus dropped us outside of Ninh Binh, decided to skip the final bus and took a Grab.

The bus was not on time. We stopped after halv an hour for the rest to get on the bus. We was not informed about that. The driver didn’t speak english and didn’t say, when he stopped.

The address I got was incorrect so I was at wrong pickup location. The rear axle sounded like it was falling apart. Someone was sneezing obnoxiously load behind us. The AC felt warm.seats were comfy and driver was friendly. WhatsApp customer service was very helpful but gave wrong address.

During our transfer to Ninh Binh we had an uncomfortable experience. Before leaving, we had counted the cash in our wallet and we are sure that 2,000,000 VND was inside. Before getting into the vehicle, the driver took our backpack and placed it in the car while we were still outside. Later, when we arrived at our destination and checked the wallet again, we noticed that the 2,000,000 VND was missing. We cannot prove exactly what happened and we are not making a direct accusation, but this was the only moment during the day when the bag containing the wallet was not with us. Because of this situation the overall experience left us feeling uneasy. We recommend future travelers to keep valuables with them at all times.

The company changed the pick up address half an hour before the departure time which meant we had to walk an extra 20 minutes further in a rush. The bus was comfy but we had to stop and change buses part way through the journey and it was very confusing which bus we were meant to get on.

From the Information hoben before booking, you couldn’t tell, that you have to change vehicles twice (once in Hanoi and once in Ninh Binh). But over all I’m happy with the Trip. The Main Bus was very comfortable.
