Harry SWe booked and paid for 6am bus only to be told after paying that only 7am was available. We didn’t mind so we agreed, arrival time said 3pm.
The first sleeper bus itself was okay apart from the driver beeping his horn very frequently and driving fast. We then got to our transfer and our luggage had been damaged and wet from the storage under the bus. We were given 100k as compensation which was nothing compared to what we have had to pay to fix. We were then just left to wait for our transfer for an hour with no explanation. We were then taken to another bus where we had to wait a further 30 minutes with no explanation. We finally got in the second bus which was a good bus, we arrived at ninh binh 2 hours after the time specified which meant we didn’t have time to do the activity we booked.
Overall a very bad experience. The actual bus journey itself was okay and the buses are clean and comfortable but everything else was bad

Nadine WI booked a night-bus with toilet. Then they told me there will not be a toilet on board. I told them i need a toilet (reasons private) and that this is the reason why I chose them. Then they ensured me they booked me into a bus with a working toilet.
Well, what shall i say. The toilet was locked.
I complained and they said they will do a lot of stops.
Well, what shall i say. I told the driver i beed a toilet “we cannot stop!” was the answer! 1:45hrs later we stopped and a woman was very embarrassed exiting her cabin, because she peed her pants 😔
Such poor customer service!

Mark SWe were not told that our Sapa to Ninh Binh trip would not be direct. From Sapa to Hanoi was wonderful with a great driver. From Hanoi to Ninh Binh our driver was noisy having loud conversations on the phone or with other drivers, leaving us with no peace and quiet. Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, our promised transfer to Tam Coc was not there and facing a 30 minute wait, we abandoned the service and paid for a grab to our hotel. Poor or no service for the last part of our journey.

Kate WI didn’t get dropped at Tam Coc agency, it also wasn’t advertised as having a stopover and switch buses in Hanoi which also happened, there was very little communication and confusing upon arrival

Izzy TI booked 11pm to 8am specifically to align with my travel plans and avoid getting up really early. However we were woken up at 6am and told to get off the bus. When I asked the driver why the time was different to that stated he simply said travelling through Hanoi is faster at night. I feel I didn’t get the service I selected and paid for.

Dorisz PNice personal in Sapa, the bus was comfortable and clean.
However, we left Sapa with 45 minutes delay and although the expected arrival time to Ninh Binh was 5pm, we started the trip at this time to Ninh Binh, and arrived there az 6.30pm.
Nice surprise, that we were dropped-off at the hotel instead of Ninh Binh Office.

Juliette The departure point on my ticket was incorrect, so I had to catch a grab to the correct location. Another passenger had the same issue. Luckily the bus was late so we both made it. The bus was comfortable enough.
