Olga SIt was the worst experience on a sleeper bus in Vietnam (Sa Pa- Ninh Binh). The bus had three raws, the place was too narrow even for such s tiny person like me.
The driver did not allow me and other foreigners to take the lower seats. Later when he stopped a lot, the lower seats were taken by locals.
The worst part was that he did not stop for a bio break. For around 8 hours on the road, he stopped ONCE, after around 5 hours. I had to come to him and request to stop.
Though he stopped a lot to pick up people and some stuff. In one place we stopped for over an hour, they were loading some stuff in the warehouse.

Fabian SMy trip quickly devolved into an 8-hour ordeal, which I can only describe as a ride in the "Hell Cabin."
The trouble started before we even boarded. We were informed via WhatsApp that the bus would leave half an hour early. We adjusted our plans and arrived on time, only to watch the bus eventually pull in 35 minutes late (five minutes past the original schedule).
Once on board, the driver's cabin assignments were baffling. It's standard knowledge that the rear cabins in sleeper buses are often slightly elevated, losing about 30-40 cm of critical legroom. The driver chose to assign these already cramped rear spaces only to men over 1.80m (6 feet) tall. My neighbor’s request for a switch was flatly denied, guaranteeing discomfort for all of us in the back.
My personal spot was the worst: the bottom-center cabin, situated directly over the engine. Despite the running ventilation, the cabin was uncomfortably warm throughout the journey, making it extremely difficult to rest
The situation was further compounded by severe overcrowding. While all tourists received beds, several local individuals (who appeared to be the driver’s acquaintances) were left to sleep on the floor between the cabins. A young man positioned himself right next to my privacy curtain. His initial distraction, loudly playing videos on his phone, was followed by physical intrusion. Once asleep, I could feel every move he made against my thin partition. Eventually, his knee and even his foot began to protrude into my assigned sleeping space.
In the end, I paid the full price for an experience that delivered zero sleep and zero comfort. I endured a boiling, undersized cabin, all while dealing with severe boundary violations from an adjacent, non-ticketed passenger. This journey was a complete disaster.

Tom CThe bus arrived about 40mins late, and there was no communication from any of the staff during this time as to its whereabouts, or what was going on. The ride was extremely uncomfortable, being bounced and thrown around the cabin. The photos also showed a flat seat in the cabin, but this was the more standard reclined seat.

Olga KWe arrived 35 minutes before departure and there was chaos and rush as the bus was already ready to go. We arrived to destination also 1 hour before planned time and didn't get shuttle to the hotel even though I applied for it. The guy said that he didn't get information, probably because of all the rush during departure. It was a night bus, but I couldn't sleep because of quite aggressive driving.

Marry AIt was a nightbus and they wake you up every 2 to 3 hours with loud alarms and bright lights, which made it impossible to have a good sleep. We were exhaustes when we arrived to our destination.
