Took the bus from Tam Coc to Da Nang (12 hours) It left on time but arrived two hours late due to an unnecessary 1.5-hour stop just 100 km from the destination. When I asked the driver after an hour what we were waiting for, he rudely told me off. The ride was fine otherwise, but the poor organization and disrespect made it a bad experience.

Please be mindful of peak hours. Without the prior warning from the operator, we definitely would have been late. The traffic was absolutely crazy - it took us two hours to travel just 8 kilometers.

The bus was 1 hour late, with communication only coming through at the time the bus should have been arriving. No one was around to help or give us information. The people that were there had no idea if it was our bus, the bus driver had no list of names.

Only on minor issue with our cabin was the door which rattled all night. Worked out in the morning g that if we wedged it with a shoe ( like thongs ) it stopped the rattle which would have made our sleeping experience so much better. Other than that the bds were comfortable and the lotus staff member on the train very attentive. Would travel Lotus again. ( this was our third trip using Lotus Trains. They are very consistent.

Everything was great. Shuttle bus was right on time. The bus itself was clean and in a very good condition with pillows, blanket, water and WiFi. It was our first experience with sleeping bus and it was absolutely awesome. Highly recommend

Travelled in a 4-berth sleeper train. Whilst difficult to sleep due to the noise a train makes and ‘soft’ beds are very hard, I’d recommend it! Cabin, linens and toilets were clean. Lots of snacks and a bottle of work provided. Aircon comfortable with ability to turn up or down by opening or closing multiple vents. Whilst not cheap, it was about the same as flying for us from Ninh Binh to Da Nang and would prefer this over a transfer to Hanoi and then going through airports.
