The trip was difficult: 1) The staff was loud and/or snoring. 2) Pigs were loaded into the section below, making it even more noisy and smelly. 3) We weren't informed about any stops, and there was no way to use the bathroom the entire trip. 4) Upon arrival, my backpacks were stained with a smelly liquid, and I had to take everything to the dry cleaners. 5) the staff smoked inside the bus; 6) the bus arrived later

Clifford Can't complain. About as comfortable as a sleeper bus could be. Arrived early, relatively smooth ride. Could have used one more pitstop. USB port wasn't working. Also no instructions for TV. Massage cushions were a nice touch. Much better than Futa, worth the extra cost. Only real problem was that pickup point was changed after I went to original location but new pickup was right next to my hotel so I wasted money on two Grab rides.

Christiane SVery comfortable, free water (if you want to Beer and Coke also - 1 tan each Person), Chips and (Tony) breakfast too.. very clean if you Imagine that you are in a train! Can reconmend the ride!

John CAll on schedule. Good privacy so managed to sleep a bit. Berths are a bit short though and driver was blowing horn quite a bit.

Marc VPick up in the city was complicated. I prefer to go to the bus station myself.
There was only one stop in a not so nice place. The second one? In the stop for picking passengers up we were not allowed to buy coffee. We had to go on. I did it anyhow. We were there around 30 minutes. A bit strange
Leaving Hue the drivers had no clue which way to drive. We got lost on a small road where the bus had to make an u turn.
And we stopped for taking fuel.
We arrived more than 90 minutes late.
So I am not very happy with the trip.

Alexey YWe had our tickets changed one day before with different places assigned and no chances to change for what we wanted. The train assistant in the cabin was confused and were running around for 5 minutes trying to fit us somewhere. Finally we got places in a different couch near the toilet. Than qe got other train assistant trying to sell us an upgrade to higher class.
At night someone was smoking in the near by so we smelled like the smoke was coming right in our cabin. So I don’t know who is writing good reviews about lotus train, but I wouldn’t

Maureen BOn time and facilities were fine, noisy, slept okay, easy to use. Had a very uncomfortable interaction with one of the train staff and felt unsafe, spoke to my cabin mates who were lovely otherwise I would not have been able to sleep. However the Lotus staff was friendly.
