Hue to Hoi An Destination Reviews

I strongly advise against using this carrier. What we experienced was a total disregard for customers and a clear case of false advertising – the bus photos in the offer have absolutely nothing to do with the actual standard of the vehicle. There is a blatant discrimination policy based on nationality. Local passengers (Vietnamese) are given the better, cleaner cabins, while Europeans are pushed into the smaller, inferior cabins at the back of the bus. On top of that, the staff was extremely rude and spoke almost no English, making any communication regarding these issues impossible. The hygiene level is disgusting. Blankets and pillows are not washed; they are simply refolded after previous passengers and handed out to the next ones. They are dirty and have a foul smell. Also, despite the promises in the booking, no free water was provided at all. The worst part was retrieving our luggage from the hold. Our large backpacks, which were clean and fresh when we loaded them, were returned soaked and reeking of a repulsive, unknown substance. Next to our belongings, the carrier was transporting strange boxes and parcels that clearly leaked all over our gear. Given the stench, I dread to think what it actually was. This company treats passengers and their property with zero respect. I warn everyone to stay away – segregation of passengers, lack of hygiene, and ruined luggage are standards that no one should tolerate.

The driver arrived 20 minutes early. Thankfully we are always early for trips. I’m not sure how to answer the question below, was the driver on time. I wonder if he would have waited for us until 9 am or would he have left early?

The mini van was over an hour late to the pick up point. They did inform me of this in advance on WhatsApp, which I am grateful for. However, on the way we stoped in Da Nang and I had to swap vehicles from the VIP Limousine, which I paid extra for, to a normal mini van that was going to Hoi An. No one spoke English and the whole process was very stressful. I also left my water bottle in the VIP Limousine as I forgot it in the rush. I asked if I could pick this up to which they said it was lost, which it couldn’t have been as I left it on my chair so someone clearly stole it. I would not recommend.
