Hue to Hoi An Destination Reviews

PD
We need more stops for toilets The trio lasted 1 hour more that expected. The bus didn’t drop us at the right place written in the ticket. Is that because they have deals with the taxis or scooter drivers ?

Worst trip ever. 1. We booked for two pp, when we arrived the bus was overbooked, so at first the driver put us in one cabin together, we said no because it wasn’t what we booked. So he was very disrespectful, and not kind at all. At the end, we were in two very small cabins at the end of the bus, near the restrooms. So we were very disappointed. 2. The time of arrival was wrong, we arrived one hour later in Hoi An, we almost miss our boat to the Cham isles 3. The location of arrival was not the one written on the booking, so we had to take a grab to go to the location written on the booking

The shared ride trip was on time though we switched vehicles in Da Nang, it would of been nice to be told that would happen. We were in the back seat so not very comfortable for my husband being tall, but we were able to move to middle seats when other passengers were dropped off.

We booked a 6:30am bus and we were told only the day before that we should go to a pick up point at 5:40am where a minivan would drive us to the big bus, outside the city. We then asked to be placed on the next bus, so we were instructed to go to the pickup point at 7:20am to reach the bus that would leave at 8am. We waited 35 minutes for the pick up bus to arrive, which drove us to a bar that was nearer to our hotel than the pick up point itself!! So no need at all for us to be instructed to go to the pick up point. We then waited another 30 minutes at the bar and the big bus ended up leaving 40 minutes late at 8:40am. Terribile experience with communication logistics and efficiency. We could have left our hotel at 7:50am. The ride on the bus was okay but also with few clarity on when the bus would reach our stop and difficult to communicate with the driver that did not speak English. Overall, we reached our destination and the travel itself was comfortable, but totally unreliable in case you need to follow a schedule or be on time to destination. Also, wasted a lot of time which is not pleasant when visiting a country.

Got spammed with phone calls and messages at 7 in the morning. Different car that we booked. Communication was just full off bad excuses, why it wasn't the way we booked it. Vehicle was super bumpy and uncomfortable, because of bad shock absorber. We left half an hour before the booked time.

The driver was 30 minutes late and he texted and videocalled some friends almost the all time. At one point he stopped the car to give a box to a friend.

One hour delay. Fortunately the hotline was communicative but not proactive. Makes me wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t asked for confirmation several times myself. The driver was seemingly randomly driving around picking people and bags when we were asked to be one hour later at a super specific place. We were asked to sit at the back and then a couple sat in front of us and proceeded to put the seat all the way back, speak loudly on phone, being incredibly rude generally, but seemed they knew the driver so we thought better to just take it on the chin. Because of the aforementioned picking people we guess to make the ride more economically viable the driver then drove all the way bumping, accelerating, honking and overtaking cars and bikes dangerously. Would never repeat with this company even though we arrived safely, at least there is that. Welcome to Vietnam I guess?

The driver was late about half an hour. During our 100 km journey he stopped for the gasoline and some parcel exchange. It took longer than expected.
