The company charge $10 more than the cost of the actual visa. I asked at the border & looked at the Embassy Of Cambodia website and both confirmed the visa on arrival price is $30. Not the $40 the bus company tells you it is. When I asked the staff on the bus, they refused to explain the difference and then proceeded to ignore us for most of the journey. If it is a ‘service fee’, the only thing they did was take our passports to the border & fill out an application card, nothing else! We could have easily done this ourselves and it does not constitute a $10 fee. The staff were really rude and it’s clear to see they’re making a huge margin on these buses. We were also 2hrs late into Phnom Penh and seemed to be dropping local people off directly at hotels/homes which took so long yet all ‘travellers’/tourists had to get dropped at the bus office and didn’t have a choice. Really disappointing service and rude staff on the bus. Can’t believe they’re overcharging each passenger $10.

A fantastic trip, very comfortable seats with a USB port for charging your phone. The guide handed out sandwiches and water. Everything was well-organized: crossing the border went very smoothly. Regardless of whether you already have a visa for Cambodia or not, the tour guide takes care of everything. Departure was punctual, to the minute. I highly recommend it.

The first driver who took us from Ho Chi Minh City to the Moc Bai border was fantastic. He drove very safely and his car was safe and clean. However, the driver that picked us up on the Bavet Border on the Cambodia side to Phnom Penh was very tired. He nearly crashed head on with other vehicles many times. One of the seatbelts in his vehicle was also damaged. I had to shout at him several times to keep him awake. I was very scared the entire drive from Bavet to Phnom Penh.
