Its not a first time tourist friendly way to go to Cambodia from Vietnam. Im a Philippine Passport holder Upon arrival to the Vietnam exit boarder driver pointed us to the boarder and left. The Vietnamese boarder ask for 100,000 vietnamese dong. Then after that I went to enter cambodia for Philippine passport they boarder ask for entry stamp fee of $12! Overall I stayed in cambodia with 3 of my family for just 1 night and 2 days. This land boarder are scammers. None speak english they will just ask for money. Our vietnamese driver to pick us up is few minutes late no english and left us in the boarder. Were clueless of what to do just followed the people the passengers of bus is better situation because the bus crosses the boarder. I choose to get taxi for higher price expecting a better experience. Wrong. Just go in group. Finding the cambodian driver is also a challenge because no one is coordinating to me who will pick us up where to pick up. The coordinator from vietnam said he only handles vietnamese side. But he help us with trying to reach cambodian. Now the car of cambodian is old ac is weak. Both driver’s are kind and nice BUT the entire trip or experience of crossing boarder using taxi that pays more i will never recommend. Its not comfortable and more expensive that bus.

The driver was very helpful with my visa on arrival process and the rest stop in Cambodia was quite nice with some reasonably priced food. I also appreciate the toilet onboard Bring a warm sweatshirt though since AC was quite strong/the bus quite cold.

The smoothest border crossing we’ve had in SE Asia. The guide and driver were so friendly and helpful. Snacks coffee and water on the bus provided. Extremely well organised, was such a nice treat to not have to worry about visas etc the guide was so helpful. Good few stops along the way. Really comfortable bus with lots of space. Definitely recommend!
