Bad communication, no check in, no signage, had to switch buses once and halfway through the journey (2 hours after our original departure time) I got a text asking why I wasn’t on the bus as the driver was waiting, then said I was on the right bus. Made it to the destination in the end though

Driver was good. Left within 30min of scheduled departure time. They actually drop you off up the street from the mentioned address which is just 5 extra minutes on foot, but good to know. All the necessary details for the trip was in the voucher provided by 12Go.

The van was over 30 mins late for pickup, which seems to be a common experience. If this is consistently the case, they should simply update their pickup times. There were 2 groups of us standing on opposite corners of the same block, and both had directions for their respective spots (2 different street corners). The van ultimately stopped halfway between both corners in the middle of the block - if we wouldn't have been watching intently for it, we may not have noticed. Once we were on board, everything was just fine/comfortable.

Bus was clean and comfortable but route from Phong Nha to Hoi Am took not 6 but 9 hours. Driver made a lot of stops and choose strange roads. All the times he was honking

I really didn't understand why they asked us to change the bus with all our luggage for 2 times. The full journey with one bus only would be the more comfortable option.
