Transportation from Hanoi to Ha Giang

Hanoi to Ha Giang Destination Reviews

Pick up point adress and google maps coordinates aren't the same. (Driver came to 7 Cua Dong street). Car broke down during the drive. At least another car arrived quickly and we onlay had 1.5 hours delay. To buy an extra seat with big baggage (>10kg) is misleading to write in the description. We didn't got an extra seat but payed an additional ticket. Driver didnt know anything about end/ drop off adress of Ha An hotel 168 Tran Hung Dao. At least driving us there

Bus was in a very tired condition and the driver was unnecessarily dangerous. Overtaking on blind corners and driving people off the road

Very good experience. I booked my trip for a wrong date and the company changed it right away after I contacted them Via Whatsapp, for free. The driver was at time at the pick up station. From Hanoi do Ha Giang we were 1 hour late. The driver was not rude, normal, zero English. He drove me as last one in the bus alone to my destination hostel, which was a big plus!

Great trip. The driver was super kind, on time and profesional. The van was very comfortable.

Got picked up on time to be taken to another stop in Hanoi where we got on the bus and waited for a while for another taxi of people to get dropped off. We didn’t know the bus wasn’t picking us up directly. It was also a sleeper bus not as described but we weren’t bothered. The bus was pretty empty, stopped a couple of times to pick people up and had 2/3 rest stops. Can’t complain, it was inline with expectations and a pretty decent journey.

We were supposed to leave Hanoï at 11am, but a car came at 11am to take us to the bus terminal and then to a sleeper bus (we booked a "vip van"). We had to wait for 2 hours in the bus with no information from the staff. We had no idea when we were going to leave Hanoï. The good thing is that we arrived at our destination at the end but 2 hours late and with very bad communication from the company.

Booking was easy but only after payment it was said that you had to pay an extra seat for more than 10 kg luggage. I had a backpack and all the other passengers had one. So the bus driver didn’t make problems. But it is not nice that the site offers a rather expensive limousine bus without luggage space.

We were picked up from our hotel on time and the trip started off well. The driver was pretty erratic (like most in Vietnam) but a few hours in he t-boned a lady on a scooter and sent her flying. She was loaded into a car and presumably taken to hospital. The scooter was jammed under the van and we had to jump on board one of the local buses which aren't great. Added an extra 2 hours on to our trip, which means nothing in comparison to the poor lady that got taken out. Hopefully she is alright. This isn't a reflection on 12goasia as we have used them all across South East Asia and they have been fantastic.

On time departure. Comfortable van. Good driver, bought passengers sliced oranges at a rest stop and even dropped everyone off at their destinations in Ha Giang. Highly recommended.
