The experience wasn’t great. After receiving the email confirmation, I didn’t have any number that I could contact the provider. I was ready at 6:30 - as requested - and as the driver didn’t show up on time, I was afraid that I would lose the boat, so I ended up taking a driver to drive to the port. 45 min after the expected departure time, I was contacted by the provider to hop on the van.
In the end I could arrive in my destination, but I couldn’t trust that I would be picked up.

The trip went very well, despite a slight delay contrary to what had been announced. On the other hand, the seats in the boat are really tight and the air conditioning didn't work.

We left the port of Sanur on time. Our first stop was to be Gili Trawangan and the crossing was to take 3.5 hours (according to 12Asia). Our first stop after half an hour was Nusa Penida, where everyone had to get off the boat. Those who wanted to continue were "parked" somewhere on the jetty in the sun without any further information. After asking several times, we were told that we would wait for a larger boat and then travel to Nusa Lembongan, from there to Lombok and finally to Gili. The boat arrived about an hour later. We drove to Nusa Lembongan and collected more guests, which made the boat incredibly full. There were rows of 4 seats, but the seats are made for very small and narrow people. For this reason, it was very cramped and cozy for the next three hours. There was no air conditioning and the windows had to be closed due to the swell. Fortunately, we drove from Nusa Lembongan directly to Gili, contrary to what the helper in Penida had told us, and reached Gili T 1.5 hours late. At least we arrived safely and at all.
