Puerto Princesa to El Nido Destination Reviews

The bus is actually down the road on the highway, not a pleasant walk with all your luggage in the heat. Part of the reason for booking was thebsite saying we would be picked up directly at the airport entrance. The bus also left a half hour late, theb went to get gas, went to a tour office and the driver went inside for a bit, then we drove back to the same gas station then finally 1hr 15 minutes after we should have been on our way, we were leaving Puerto princesa. Lastly, not sure why the driver bothered asking us where our hotels were, and letting us know where we'd be dropped off, because in the end we were all just dropped off on the highway 15 minutes from El nido center with no explanation.

BOOK THE CHERRY BUSS!!! This van was the worst thing ever!!! The driver was sooo bad! He was angry at everyone. Squeezed in too many people couldn’t even breath in the van. If they over book which happens all the time they put two extra seats in the van, one is about 30 cm and then you need to seat 4 people on one line in the van we literally sat on each other it was HORRIBLE. You can’t sleep for one second because we literally sat on each other!!!! HORRIBLEEEE. You should meet the driver up outside the airport and we didn’t get that information so we sat and waited for the van until 04 in the morning??

We left 1 hour late, I think because the van was not full. You are supposed to be there 30 min. earlier, then wait and wait....

Does Puerto Princesa get more tourists than El Nido?

While Puerto Princesa and El Nido both attract tourists, they cater to different interests. Puerto Princesa serves as the gateway to Palawan and is known for the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park.
