Jenna We got picked up over an hour late with zero information or anyone to ask, that didn't bother us too much, but we were the first ones there and the last one on the bus as 3 arrived at the same time and there were no one giving any information, and it was a different bus company to the one that was on our ticket. As we were the last ones on the bus we got the back of the bus and these cabins were quite a bit smaller than the others. Also no TVs , it's just a picture in a frame

Joanna NPicked this as the shortest time but in truth it took two hours longer. Arrival was confusing as the bus station in Tam Coc had no info but thankfully someone came to find us all. Journey took longer and we didn’t leave on time but the driver was considerate and drove well, not crazy fast. Ample stops, clean bus with comfy beds and options to sit up if preferred. Would use again, but will factor extra time in.

Jonathan BWe left with a delay of 30 mins just to stop at the next mechanic so an oil change could be done. After many stops along the route to load and unload packages and other passengers, we arrived with a total delay of 2 hours. Otherwise the trip was fine and service good.

Bethany KThe bus was 3.5 hours late to pick us up with barely any communication at all. We arrived at the pick up spot half an hour before the departure time, as the ticket said to do. Then at 9:15, 15 mins after the departure time, we got a message saying they would be late and arriving at the pick up spot at 10:15. They then proceeded to not message us again and the bus arrived at 12:30 - all of us were cluelessly sat at a bus stop for 3 hours, hoping the bus would actually arrive (they only messaged me, everyone else at the bus stop would have been unaware of the delay.) The bus was good, although the stops were a bit strange. Free toilets though which was nice! Overall, bus quality was fine but the communication and lateness was awful. Meant that we missed a whole day pretty much in Phong Nha.

Kiriana LHad to wait 2h for the bus and arrived 3h late. Very poor communication from the company - took over an hour for any sort of update after multiple calls/messages. People also got on the same bus who had tickets booked for an hour later. Bus was dirty and smelt strongly of smoke, no water, no wifi, no communication on board about stops (x2 for what turned out to be a 9h journey).

We had bought a bus ride from Ninh Bhin to Phong Nha 24 april but ended up in Hue, 300 km away. We eventually did get a bus back. I find all of this very annoying, and now we have to drive back for 3.5 hours on top of that. They did make sure we got back on the right bus.

Wesley TThe driving itself was fine.
Getting the right people on the bus was a struggle. I had to insist 3 times to get on, the driver kept telling me I wasn’t on his lists. Its only when I showed him the license plate matched the one on my text that he let me on. The driver let another passenger on that wasn’t supposed to be on our bus creating a conflict since he refused to get off the bus. Because of that we left 30 minutes late.
Once the bus left, the driver smoked cigarettes the whole way to our destination making the fire alarm ring! It smelt bad and was very disturbing.
The bus ride was supposed to be 8 hours long overnight but ended up being 5 and a half hours meaning we arrived at 4am making it impossible to access our Airbnb.
