Booked the fast catamaran, only takes 50 mins, don’t book the ferry, it takes 2 to 3 times longer. Yes it’s cheaper on the ferry but it’s worth the extra for convenience. Make sure you arrive 20-30 mins before as you have to walk to the end of the pier (5min) walk after you checkin. Great boat ride, well worth it!

The process for booking was confusing. All the wrong things are preselected and you need to pay close attention to avoid being charged for something useless! I was charged for insurance that I didn’t need or want! The level of greed is unbelievable!

Ferry was air conditioned. Journey was comfortable. We had booked 2PM Ferry but we were allowed on 1.30 PM Ferry saving our time.

online ticket was more expensive (about 240 vs 170 baht) and the boarding process is a little complicated for prepaid tickets. I guess the only good that I got out of electronic tickets is paperless.
