The van came with 45 min delay. As we started from a random hotel in Hat yai and not from a bus station there was no one to ask about the schedule. I contacted the Billion star office but they never replied. After the van arrived it took another 1 hour to start from Hat yai. Finally we reached Georgetown with 1h45min delay. Further the bus driver asked for 20 baht / person for “the border”. He never gave it to anyone. Seems to be scam. The van itself was comfortable, with AC and not overbooked.

Group of 6 other passengers wouldn't stop talking and shut up for 5 minutes for the whole trip. Playing stupid music and videos on their phones that everyone could hear. Not everyone wants to hear your shit, buy some headphones. I wore earplugs half the time and still heard all their noise. Was stuck in back corner of the van and my seat was pretty uncomfortable, squeaky and noisy. Driver was sometimes texting on Line app and driving at the same time. Sometimes fast and erratic driving. Other people were picked up and dropped off at their hotel location. I had to show up to pick-up location myself, and walk from drop-off location to my hotel. No pickup or drop-off was offered to me. We never stopped long enough to buy some food or drinks, apart from at the border, but you were in a rush to go through there.

The bus never arrived at the point of departure. We had to call a driver with whom we couldn't make ourselves understood. Finally a number from another agency got back to us and told us to go to their office to catch another bus 3 hours later. We had no excuses and no warning of the change. The journey then went well, but our day was completely out of order.
