8 instead of 7 hours, a 30 minutes stop to have the drivers eating for free and customers eating for more, change of bus arriving in Ho, get of the shoes but not for all, change of reserved seat without explanation, etc etc.

We arrived early and they were kind to let us print our e visas there. Provided with water but I didn’t want to drink it as we only got one toilet stop, you can go toilet at border crossing but it cost and I didn’t have change on me. Bus aircon didn’t work very well so bus got quite warm. Seats are so comfortable and lay back, good leg room and a foot rest.

Good journey. A little cramped 3 beds/seats wide. Would have been better with only two wide.

Overall it was very organised. We got a sleeper bus from Phnom Penh to Hanoi. The journey was smooth and staff were friendly and helpful. You stop at the Cambodian boarder first to check visas and passports. Next you are take 5 mins to the Vietnamese boarder. The bus staff collect your passport and take them for processing. They are returned to you with your Vietnamese stamp and you continue to the outskirts of Hanoi. There you are transferred to another seated bus to take you to the city centre. The seats were very comfortable and there was about 3 stops to take a break, get food and use the facilities. Very happy with how everything went and I would recommend. Would definitely chose this method of transport again. Beware arrival times cannot be guaranteed. They kindly wait until everyone has been sorted at the boarder. This can take time.
