Nia RTrain was cancelled mid way through journey so we didn’t get to see the Hi Van Pass and won’t have time to see it now. We were waiting for a long time before gaining any clarity on what was happening and told conflicting information several times.
However, they did sort moving us onto a rail replacement bus which was also comfortable.

Stephen It was enjoyable but hard work all the same. There are no signs in the train station or notice boards saying if you have e tickets for the tourist train go to waiting room 3. That would have been a great help and save queuing in the ticket line as that was the only obvious person working at the station.

Andrew FIconic but very rattly. We didn’t get much sleep but we were comfortable. I can’t imagine trying to sleep in a seat with that level of swaying and rattling.
