The advertised timeline for the trip was aspirational, not real. In reality we arrived more than two hours late. A large portion of the trip involved waiting outside in the heat for the next boat to arrive (about an hour and a half), and the boat made multiple stops at a different island before going to the final destination. Additionally, the trip was not as described - the ticket from 12go said the boat was a 'ferry'. In reality it was an extremely cramped speedboat with not enough seats for everyone that went faster than felt safe. 12go should engage in much more oversight to ensure that operators are truly operating the trips they advertise.

The van stops at the pier in Sihanoukville so you can connect to your ferry with no other steps which was really convenient . They even changed my date because my flight got cancelled I really appreciate it.

Phnom Penh-Koh Ron Sanloem. We did over pay by around £20 which we didn't realise until afterwards. If you are going to Koh Rong (either island) please only book from Phomn Penh to Sihanoukville (as close to the ferry port as possible, or a Grab will be cheap if not, and buy your ferry ticket separately from the port, there are many company's there and it will work out a lot cheaper! That been said though, the journey was smooth, driver was good, we arrived on time, when we got there, there was a lady asking us our final destination and then she writes out a prepaid ticket for us to go around to the ferry companies offices and you have to wait in the queue and they give you an actual ticket.

Very poor service! Van was cramped with people, poor air con and multiple stops to pick up and drop off people. Then, had to run to almost catch the speedboat which was by far the worst speedboat I used. Small and again full of people, we got soaked with water as it hasn’t got proper windows. Sea was a bit rough and because it wasn’t built for this, we were jumping up and down in seats and people were screaming!

One of our seats didn’t recline - as the handle was jammed.
The leg room was basically none existent, not only for me at 6’2 but my 5’6 partner struggled too,
Kept stopping on the way after just stopping a hour before - making us over a hour late,
Overall better driving than I have previously experienced and generally felt safe during the journey - including through torrential rain.
Can’t complain for the price - £8 for a 6 hour journey made it worth it.

Set off on time, but made multiple, long stops within minutes of leaving. We finally stopped stopping frequently after a couple of hours. With stopping half an hour for food also, we arrived in Sihanoukville 1.5hrs after the stated arrival time, and to a different location than stated.
