Bangkok to Koh Samui Destination Reviews

JW
I sum everything up here. First I found that the communication was overall lacking on the basis that most of the time I didn't know when where and what I needed to do and go there was nobody guiding or giving information about what we needed to do and it seems the other passengers I spoke to didn't either. Second I found the overall comfort of the coach was average. I was disappointed with the amount of time that we had to wait for the ferry. This amounted to over two hours of waiting when we got there again the communication was not good. I had an issue on the ferry with how I couldn't have my hand luggage back with me. It was taken to the luggage section by a member of staff and at this point I knew where it was after a quick nap and looking for my bag it was clear that all the bags had been moved by another member of staff at the end of the journey. I couldn't find this back and the help received from members of staff was really poor. I think it would be fair to say that they were quite dismissive and rude. Overall I think that the trip is relatively good value for money compared with other options however the service could greatly be improved with a few changes one being an itinerary of the trip included with an email this would help with a lot of the confusion and peace of mind. Also some kind of voucher swap when you handover your suitcase would be helpful not that it did happen but it just removes any risks with regard to taking incorrect luggage which would also improve peace of mind. I hope that this review is somewhat helpful.

The bus was quite comfortable, but unfortunately, there were cockroaches on the boat. The seats were uncomfortable. But overall, it was okay.

The bus was very good but the boat ride was very long to go to Samui. We had to stop Kotao and other islands. But it was a beautiful experience.

The bus driver kept coughing and spitting out the window the whole time. That wasn’t really pleasant. Everything else was fine!!

It was the best bus trip in Thailand so far. The vehicle was really VIP. The seats were so comfortable that everyone could really sleep well. Blankets, food and drinks were distributed. Gladly again

We were a little skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews, but we were really happy with our experience. Yes there is no break throughout, however we had a toilet available at all times, water provided on the comfortable coach and we came prepared with snacks. For the distance you are travelling, the price is really reasonable! Would definitely use again and recommend :)

The trip went quite well , all organized, the bus goes from Bangkok to Chumphon in about 6 (in these 6 hours it never stops) they give you a small bottle of water, you then get to the ferry embarkation where you can have something to eat, the ferry stops first at Koh Tao, then Koh Phangan and finally Koh Samui.
