Seat foot reclinator didn’t work. Although the ticket mentioned it, it was really very cold all the journey. Bus did a stop in Terminal 2 although it mentioned it was a direct bus from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai.

The ride from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai was 'fine'. Fairly new bus, enough leg room, and a stop in the middle for a bathroom break. None of that is true for the the ride from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai. Old bus, none of the seats 'worked', and there was no stop whatsoever during the ride. I get that this is the only option for under 400THB, but I hope there is eventually some competition.
