Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai Destination Reviews

The shock absorbers are completely out of order . The other things like drivers behaviour is good .

The bus going to Chiang Rai was good. The bus coming back however parked in spot 12 not 13 or 14 so it looked like they were going to Lampang not Chiang Mai. Good thing we asked, we nearly missed our bus! The Greenbus desk stated they should be parked in 13 or 14, but they were not. Luckily I noticed a worker yelling at them. I couldn’t understand Thai but I just tried to use common sense. Also, do not let people bring FISH on the bus. A woman had a bag of fish soaked with the juice which leaked she put up on the shelves where people’s bags go and leaked down to our bags. This made our trip so annoying because we had to go wash at the laundromat.

Checking in and boarding the bus was very easy. The bus also arrived 45 minutes earlier than scheduled. However, the bus was incredibly cold and there was a loud beeping noise which occurred during most of the journey, so it was not very comfortable.

Bus Express, GreenBus (กรีนบัส (รถเขียว)), Apr 11, 2022
Very organized staff checking tickets. Driver did a great job. The bus left 10 minutes late to wait for two late passengers but we still arrived more or less on time. My only negatives are the bus was infested with ants that were coming in from the window seal. The toilet smell came into the seat area. The windows should be washed; bird poop.
