The journey itself was absolutely fine. However, it appears that fish was being transported in polystyrene boxes in the cargo hold. When we took our backpacks out as we left the bus, they were partially wet and smelled of fish.

The driver was collecting people that definitely hadn’t paid for a ticket and these people weren’t very considerate of the other people on the bus putting their feet and legs on other people and their chairs. Arrived late due to the added drop off and pick ups. The driver also kept stopping to smoke.

Sat in the front with the driver so didn’t have the comfortable seats like everyone else had as advertised, I understand they have a limited amount of seats on the bus but these front seats should be advertised at a discounted rate

The bus was 30 minutes late, we got no Information about it. On the way from Ha Long to Ninh Binh we stopped several times to collect packages and drop them off again. So the arrival was late as well. Moreover we had to switch buses shortly before arrival and were dropped off at the wrong location. After the driver insisted on dropping us off there with no further information we had to take a taxi to our right place which was 150k on top. Afterwards the operator told us that we had to switch buses again, what no one told us. Felt all in all not good to be on that ride.
