We had a medical emergency and asked if we could travel one day early. The operator said yes. Then on the day of the trip, at the pier they denied us boarding. We had to pay again for new tickets in cash. They tried not to give any receipt as well. 12go was also not helpful resolving the issue.

Everything was smooth, and the journey on the ferry actually only took around 90 mins which we were surprised about. We paid 200 to upgrade to VIP where we enjoyed the top deck basically by ourselves and had some included drinks and snacks. All in all, not a single complaint

This was not a direct ferry via speedboat as was advertised. Our purchase stated 70 min trip and this was 2.5 hours with multiple stops.

Ride was fast, perfect in time. The sea was calm, so the ride in this powerful boat was very nice. At the pier taxi was already waiting!

The boat showed up early, the boat left early, by 10 minutes. I was standing at the base of East Railay Pier for 30 minutes, then some guy said "Where you go?" He took a picture of my phone voucher, a picture of me, pointed at the boat as it came in and said "Lets go" And we did.

The taxi people at the exit door is a racket - not representative of taxi services a mere 60 second walk out on the street. They wanted 900 Baht for my ride, even pointing to a board with ‘pricing’ - NEVER fall for that. After scoffing at my offers, my cost was 500 Baht:)
