Port Barton to Puerto Princesa Destination Reviews

TM
I am giving 1 star because we made it to the airport alive. The driver initially asked if he could take his wife and the sick mother of the owner of the van during our trip. We find this unprofessional and defeats the purpose of us renting an exclusive van. The driver was driving 120-140km/hr at nighttime and in a curvy road which made the whole duration of the trip uncomfortable and unsafe. We were dizzy, 1 person is vomiting already but the driver didn't slow down. It felt like he was doing it on purpose because his request was not allowed by our team. Furthermore, he hit a dog as he was speeding on purpose and without remorse, just allowed the dog to be ran by our vehicle. He even said, it's the dog's fault for being on the road. On the way, we were supposed to just stop by a store to buy takeout cream puffs but he did not allowed us. Then, he made us feel bad when we asked for 1 member to be dropped off at a hotel 400m away the airport and this is on the way. Even without obstacles, his driving was rowdy and he was rude the whole time. He was on his phone texting while driving us. This is the most horrible part of our trip and will definitely make us think twice going back to Port Barton. This is bad for the local tourism and for this transport channel and will give a horrible experience to tourists. We are terribly disappointed with this trip.

The driver and the vehicle were great! But, I booked the 07AM time slot!! This doesn’t exist at Port Barton at all. Only the 06AM or 08AM. That means, i was at 06:30AM at the bus terminal but have to wait until 08AM! Why you offer a time slot which doesn’t exist!! This is not correct! Like cheating customers!

Van itself is comfortable but they somehow fit 15 people inside it. Felt like squished sardines in a tin can. The bags were placed on the roof to make up for this. Front seats were reserved for locals, seniors, people with pets. Tourist on our van refused to get on due to his height and lack of leg room, demanding a front seat. The staff fed up and kicked him off to another bus later on.

Slightly cramped as all minivans in Palawan seem to be, but got us there on time (a bit early even) and was a good price

Very comfortable ride and a professional driver. Also I forgot my purse at the bus station and another bus was bringing it to the brake point. 😍
