Driver was the most unfriendly person that I have ever had the opportunity to meet in Thailand. Very rude and handled people's luggage without any care in the world. Also picked up about 15 blue plastic drums which made everybody in the Van really uncomfortable because we could not put our bags anywhere and some had to keep their bags on their laps. We were already running behind schedule but the driver still decided to stop at a street food stall and have dinner for 30min with no rush whatsoever. In the end we were an our late arriving at Surat Thani Train Station.

The driver was okay, but he didn’t get us to the destination until after 10:30am. When I booked, it said we would arrive at 09:30am. Because of the hour delay, we almost missed our boat transfer. The captain had to wait for us.

Phuket-Surat Unnecessary stops take at least 1-1:30 13:00-18:45 (late 15 min) I do not know how much you should pay to finally have a normal transfer that takes you from A to B without any stops on the way. 4hr drive becomes 5.5hr. It seems none of them do. Driver and car was fine, no questions.
