The driver was really poor – even by local standards. He caused a significant delay by forgetting to pick up some of the passengers due to his own mistake, and then tried to make up for lost time by driving recklessly. While the seats were comfortable, the driver honked almost nonstop for the entire journey, which made it nearly impossible to rest. The final straw was the drop-off. He forced only us to get off early, even though two other passengers were going to the exact same hostel as us. He drove them directly to the door, while we had to get out 2 kilometers away and order a Grab just to meet them there again.

We've been traveling in Vietnam for four weeks, but we've never encountered such a fast and reckless driver. He picked up someone for cash and then sat them in the gap between the seats with a plastic chair because all the seats were full. And then he dropped us off 20 minutes from our booked destination, claiming that was the stop. After consulting with management, they paid us a Grab to the stop. The mini van was late, then stopped multiple times for delivery or pickup of diverse items including smelly fish and we had to take our luggage on us to make space for this at the back.

They asked us to change bus when we arrived near our destination. The bus was late but the driver didn’t care, he was driving slow and making a lot of stops. All the passengers almost missed their cruise ship for Halong bay.

Over an hour late picking us up. As always with this company they are never on time, the customer service is terrible and the bus drivers are awful and grumpy. The only saving grace is the quality of the VIP busses, always on point.
