The bus/van from Ninh Binh to Mai Chau was on time and dropped us off close to the hotel. The driving style was typically Vietnamese with a lot of risky overtakes but you get used to it.

The seats are not very comfortable. Skinny seats and when the person in front of you reclines, the headrest is right in your face. Also bus arrived 20 minutes late
