Lea GI wanted to book a transfer from Ninh Binh to Cat Ba Island. The van dropped me in the middle of nowhere, not on Cat Ba island, where there was a bunch of taxi guys, I was the only one going to Cat Ba Island. I had to pay 300 000 dong for a taxi, pay for my ferry ticket and pay another 300 000 dong for a taxi on Cat Ba Island to go from the port to the town, plus 370 000 dong for the van trip with 12Go. I ended up paying tripple of the price because the van DOESN’T GO TO CAT BA ISLAND, plus i didn’t feel in security since i’m a girl solo traveling.

Noa MYesterday we traveled from Cat Ba to Sapa, but unfortunately the experience was very different from what we paid for.
When booking, we specifically chose and paid extra for an option that clearly stated there would be no transfers and only a VIP 22 cabin bus. However, upon arrival at the pickup point, it quickly became clear that this was not the case.
We were first placed on a normal bus, and no one was able to explain when we would switch to the VIP bus we paid for. We assumed this would happen after the ferry, but instead we were put on a speedboat, which was never mentioned beforehand. As I get seasick, this was especially uncomfortable and not what we agreed to.
After that, we were again placed on a normal bus, with no explanation at all. After approximately 4 hours, we arrived in Hanoi at 19:30 and were told to get off. We expected an immediate transfer, but instead we were taken to an office and informed that our next bus would only depart at 22:00.
This meant we had to wait 2.5 hours with all our luggage, despite specifically paying extra to avoid transfers and waiting times.
The final bus did arrive at 22:00, but the total journey also took significantly longer than indicated. We only arrived in Sapa at 04:15, while the booking stated an arrival time of around 02:00.
We understand that minor delays can occur, but this situation is far from what was advertised. Instead of a direct VIP journey, we experienced:
• Multiple transfers
• Long and unexpected waiting times
• Standard buses instead of the VIP service paid for
• A significantly later arrival time
This is not acceptable and does not reflect the service we paid for. We paid extra for comfort and convenience, but experienced the opposite.
We expect you to take this complaint seriously and provide an appropriate form of compensation.

Tracy KThe bus arrived a bit later than expected. We were told to come earlier to the pickup point, but in the end we arrived on time. Communication via WhatsApp was very active, the trip went smoothly, and we even got water and biscuits! They also dropped us off at our hotel.

Daiana HWe had a transfer from Tam Coc to Cat Ba with Daichi and everything went very smoothly. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The bus was clean, the driver drove extremely well, and the journey felt safe and comfortable.
We were also pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary water and snacks during the trip, which was a really nice touch.

Romy COverall a good trip, I was a bit confused as the ticket had said express bus and sleeper? But it was just a bus the whole way. Still a good trip and I was dropped at my hotel which was amazing!

Martin HEven though we had to arrive at the bus station half an hour earlier and we stopped on the roadside for some time in-between, the bus ride was great and perfectly on time.
Additionally, we all received a small welcome bag containing a water bottle, cookies and a sanitary towel.

Levi Was actually able to sleep good for some hours! There was a toilet and some water. Good pillow and blanket. Not sure how clean tho, so I put a towel under my head.
