The seat was confirmation but tight. Hallway was tight too making it difficult to walk. The bathroom in the bus was absolutely not usable by women. There was a bucket with water on the side of the toilet. You could not when try to sit. If you cannot wait it would be terrible.

It is probably one of the best bus rides you could get on the Bangkok-Chiang Mai route. Quite a bit of leg room and reclining seats. The bus felt a bit outdated, but it is still quite comfortable. There are a few simple things that would make this journey better. Like wifi in the bus, or at least one quick stop in the middle. Because the toilet gets quite stinky over the almost 11h bus ride, also the entertainment system/ screen was very old, there are movies but for watching you need your own earphones. Another thing what bother us was that the girl working as a server in the bus was racist against my partner.. Polite customer service would be something to think about..

It was a smooth and mostly comfortable journey, however our second bus driver was quite rude and drove quite recklessly.

The journey was generally fine, and the staff were friendly, but we had booked comfortable buses and that wasn't the case at all; the seats were hard, with no legroom. But let's look on the bright side... It's the land of massage, so it's a great opportunity to discover the local culture.

It was poor - average at best tbh. The bus left on time but it got incredibly hot on there in the middle of the day and the air-con wasn’t super reliable. Also there was a women on the bus who verified tickets and we were told we were going to be given free lunch coupons but then she disappeared and couldn’t be found when we actually got to the service station. There was only one stop over a 12 hour bus journey which only last for 20 minutes yet the bus driver pulled over every 30 minutes to pick up random boxes and stuff on the side of the road which delayed us by nearly an hour to Chiang mai. My partner was rudely spoken to by the women working on the bus when she asked if she could use the toilet during a stop at a bus station despite the fact we were there for 10 minutes … the toilets on the bus were pretty much inaccessible. Can’t comment on other buses but the one we got from Bangkok to Chiang mai wasn’t great and will probably spend a little bit more for a better experience next time. But on a budget it does the job and will get you there.. albeit an hour or so late
