Hanoi to Hoi An Destination Reviews

ZZ
The driver was smoking cigarettes the entire 15 hour drive on the bus. I tried asking them to stop as I’m getting over a sickness and it was very hard to sleep but they did not seem to care. We also were woken up in the morning to be put on a different sleeper bus for the last stretch and the only beds available were dirty. There was trash, crumbs and half drank water bottles left behind. Worst service for the longest bus ever :(

Where do I start? Firstly, the drivers were some of the rudest people we’ve ever met, they absolutely ruined our experience the moment we met them. They were screaming at all of us and seemed unable to display any organisational skills. Also, We booked 2 individual cabins but the bus was overbooked. So one of us had to cram in a half sized cabin under the stairs. We were both too big so the bus drivers turned the mattress sideways so that our legs touched the toilet door, meaning we were constantly awoken by people standing on us. We asked the driver to move to a free cabin but he angrily said no as he was in there (he only used it for approximately an hour). There was also no AC in this hole. Lastly, this was not one bus, it’s actually 2, and we had to wait an hour between them which we were not informed about. Overall, the experience was atrocious, and to top it all off, the bus manager sends you WhatsApp messages to try and get you to go to all of his other businesses, and tells you they will give you a free ticket to coconut baskets if you give them 5 stars, before the journey is even finished !! I’m sorry but we prefer honesty, and the truth is that this service was atrocious. The only redeeming quality is that the bus manager was very responsive on WhatsApp. If they want repeat customers they need to hire nicer people as drivers.

They were truly professional in helping me find the bag I had left behind. Even though the bag had ended up in another vehicle and it was not from their company, they still managed to track it down and return it to us. Thanks again for everything through the whole process. - we won’t forget how helpful and reliable your service has been.

Comfortable drive, good sleep on coach, WiFi was limited and tv didn’t seem to work, unfortunately rest stop was pretty filthy, travelled around a lot and was probably the worst rest stop I have experienced. Can’t fault drivers , v. Good.

Pick up location was a little odd so I was nervous, but they communicated well via WhatsApp! Bed was clean and comfy, staff were helpful. Bus arrived late but that is to be expected. Switched to a minivan in Da Nang and they even took me to my hotel for free
