Beds are extremely hard, I paid double for 2 person compartiment but ist wasn’t wiry the price to tar el by train. I recommend the sleeper busses for only 1/10 of the fare. And more comfort!

Cabin was not clean when we entered. Had to ask for fresh sheets and cleaning of table/ removing garbage ourselves. Cabin looket very poor, not wel maintained, not clean. Not at all like the photo as advertised on 12go Asia. No welcome package.

Journey was really relaxing. Great breakfast box and water. You get boiled water and can prepare a coffee. Although the train left on time, it unfortunately arrived 2 hours late. And: The train attendant, who offered us for our booked 4-bed compartment, was extremely strange that she could make sure that no more guests would come into our share. Since the train wasn't very full anyway and we thought it was unlikely that someone would come to the night compartment at the few stops, we thanked her gratitude. The price proposal was 600 thousand dong! Then she wanted to trade the price down! When we turned down again, she reacted disappointed. tourist trap!

Car had working ac. Very tight seats for long legs, but they reclined. Very dirty everywhere. Bathrooms are disgusting, but I plan ahead and bring lots of tp and wipes.
